In the summer and fall, the lake is great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking right from the private dock. There are walking trails right across the street, or a short walk to the Embleton Mt trailhead.
The house has a kitchen with BBQ, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils, and a comfortable living room with a great view of the lake. There is a bedroom with queen bed upstairs. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with double bed, and "kids" room with a twin over double bunk bed, and a games room with sofa bed. If you can't quite get away from it all we have a full entertainment center, high speed WIFI and basic cable channels. There are also plenty of books, games, puzzles to enjoy.
This space is ideal for up to 4-5 adults plus kids.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. We loved the peaceful mornings by the water and the stunning views throughout the day. Megan and Dean are the perfect hosts, so responsive and genuinely caring about making sure our stay was perfect. Our kids loved it so much they didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’ll definitely be back next summer. Thank you, Megan and Dean!

What a great spot. Quiet lake. All the locals were fantastic to meet.

This cabin is showing some signs of heavy use, but that isn't a deal breaker if you don't that kind of thing. It *is* in a great location except for the fact that, in July 2023, there is a construction site 100ft from the bedroom windows. For our stay, crews were excavating from 7am to 3pm daily. They will likely be framing and building for the rest of the summer of 2023. So, be warned.
