John is a great host providing clear instructions and tips on local activities. We enjoyed our visit very much, very peaceful and safe place to stay.

Great location for visiting Lake Jocassee! Must bring your own toiletries such as shampoo and body wash since that is not supplied. Couch and floors could be cleaner, thus the 4 star review.

Clean place with plenty of the necessities!

Listing had a few things that were not the way it actually was. The fourth bedroom is in the basement and the bed is a futon couch made into a double bed where the listing said it was a double bed. The property grounds were not well maintained and the outside of the house had a lot of cobwebs. The beds and bedding were not comfortable at all. The listing also says it is a one minute walk to the lake and five minutes to Devils Fork State Park, it is much further then that and you will not want to walk to the lake as the road does not have walk or bike path. The owner was very responsive. This house needs TLC inside and out.
