LODGE DALAAL DIAM

I stayed at Dallal Diam with my teenage daughter for a “mother-daughter retreat” for 2 weeks. We enjoyed it immensely! Fred and Celine are wonderful hosts. There is a soccer/ football field onsite, badminton, and board games along with the beautiful swimming pools. We toured the local beaches and there was always a local taxi made available by the hosts at a very reasonable charge. Each room has a unique character but for a truly unique experience I suggest the “villa” which has its own indoor soaking pool. The chef cooked delicious food. I saw one review stating that there is only one meal option each day, but while this is true, guests can pre-order their favorite meals and the chef accepts special requests. We ate local caught fish, local shrimp, chicken and a delicious vegetarian meal. Anything is possible with their experienced chef Malik. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The property is an eco nature reserve so there are donkeys, cows, horses, rabbits. The town of Sale is nearby along with Papguine beach. The place is 20-30 minutes from the airport and about 45 minutes from a game preserve which makes a good day trip. I observed several other guests enjoying themselves including families, friends and lovers alike. One family told me they come just to get away from the city and others had come from far away. You can always just relax and read a good book for a few days as well, which is what we did with some of our time. Dalaal Diam has something for everyone, but you can make the best of your time by making advance arrangements for outings and special food requests. I highly recommend Dalaal Diam as a tranquil convenient get-away. J'ai séjourné à Dallal Diam avec ma fille adolescente pour une "retraite mère-fille" pendant 2 semaines. Nous l'avons énormément apprécié ! Fred et Céline sont des hôtes merveilleux. Il y a un terrain de football / football sur place, du badminton et des jeux de société ainsi que de belles piscines. Nous avons visité les plages locales et il y avait toujours un taxi local mis à disposition par les hôtes à un prix très raisonnable. Chaque chambre a un caractère unique mais pour une expérience vraiment unique, je suggère la "villa" qui possède sa propre piscine intérieure. Le chef a cuisiné des plats délicieux. J'ai vu une critique indiquant qu'il n'y avait qu'une seule option de repas par jour, mais bien que cela soit vrai, les clients peuvent pré-commander leurs plats préférés et le chef accepte les demand
