We absolutely loved it here! It’s so spacious, and there was plenty of room and bathrooms to accommodate all 12 of us. The view is beautiful! The only issue we ran into was the floors were a little dirty when we got there, and there were no extra trash bags or dishwasher pods left for us to use. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

Great place to get away from the traffic but still have a beautiful Mountain View to relax and enjoy nature!

The property is in a very quiet and beautiful location. We quickly learned there is a "hard" way up (Manis Road) - it was scary. Once we learned the "easier" route it was less nerve racking to leave the cabin. We did have one hiccup on the first morning there. We woke up to notice mice were on the counter and ate through some food. There were mouse droppings on the counter. The drawer under the oven was also covered in mice droppings - it was all over the dishes in there. That was unfortunate. We avoided using those dishes. Downstairs was a fan favorite for our kids.

FOLLOW DRIVING DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE OFFICE!!!The layout of this cabin is perfect! Lots of space! Kids had plenty to keep them occupied. Air hockey, foose ball, pool table, and Pac-Man. The deck is huge with unblocked view of the mountains. Plenty of parking space for our three cars.We are from Flat Louisiana so our first attempt up to the cabin was a a little nerve wracking since we wasn’t sure what to expect but after that we got use to it.

We hope to get to come back to Lodge next year. Lots of room in the cabin to play games, sleep, or watch a game on TV or a movie. Wow ! what a view of the whole valley. Access to a big outdoor pool was a big hit for our family. Little high on price for us but it is a big cabin.

It was an amazing house with so much room. Definitely great for a family reunion! There’s with everything you need in the way of dishes, pots & pans & appliances. Loved the hot tub, amazing views including a mama bear with her cubs & there was a lot of outside & inside seating to accommodate the 11 of us.
We had an issue with the fridge & the mgmt was ‘on it’. They gave us a loaner that afternoon & later replaced it when the new fridge was available.
The pool is not on the property. It’s a public pool about 4 miles away along with a fishing pond, that as a renter of the house you can access to.

Perhaps the best view we’ve ever had. We enjoyed our stay very much. 3 king bedrooms and a room with 2 queens, each with its own bath, plus a half bath were just what we needed. We enjoyed the porches, the basement with several games, the hot tub. We were able to cook and have many meals around the large dining table with plenty of chairs, Believe the bear caution. We left 3 empty coolers on the deck and each had tooth and claw marks on them.Take Fireside’s advice and use the Line Springs road entrance to the area. We tried using the GPS directions, leaving Wears Valley Rd at Manis Rd. It has several VERY sharp turns and is hard to drive. Fireside people were great to work with. We had a wonderful time in this cabin.

Home was not clean , really dusty . All 3 games (fuse-ball, billiard, air-hockey) was broken . Hot tub was stink so bad , no one can even be next to it after we open cover . My son have big wound on foot after hitting sticking out nail on balcony .Spindles on railing was falling apart, small children can easily fall thru hole . I expect a lot more . Good home but poor management. Great view :)

Great place!! Got to see a bear on the deck and around the cabin and it was wonderful experience!! Only thing was there wasn’t much service for internet and I’m being charged for a broken rocking chair that was on the ground over the deck when we arrived there!!The chair was there when we got there and I wasn’t able to call them to let them know about it. But that should have been seen before we arrived there by whoever checks the place out!!

Perfect place to stay for our family and friends. Had 10 people with plenty of beds and room to play! Even had a bear visitor within hours of arrival.

The only issue we had was the hot tub didn’t have any lights and it was very dark in the corner. With bears in the area it was a little scary. We had seen a bear earlier. And the tub did not get that hot either. But the rest of the stay was nice. The road is very narrow and you go up sharp in a few areas.

Everything was great. The manager was extremely nice and helped my family with any and everything that we needed. Would stay here again

This is a beautiful cabin and accommodates a large group easily however I feel the need to share some issues we had.
There were many broken chairs and barstools almost as many broken as weren’t broken. The dishwasher didn’t work. The light in the hot tub was out so it was completely dark in the hot tub. All carpeted areas were pretty dirty. We had a crawler (baby) but carried her most of the time. The main issue was that on the day before we left we were stuck at the cabin with a septic that backed up into the showers toilets and sinks. We spent most of our day at the cabin unable to use the restrooms or showers and when we asked for another night as compensation we were told no. A hotel room would have sufficed since we essentially lost a day of vacation. Be sure to check everything when you arrive and report it immediately. There were so many issues we just didn’t. But again it is a beautiful cabin.

This cabin was perfect for me and the kids and grandkids to stay a long weekend. Plenty for the kids to do, lots of room & space for everyone! Cabin was clean. Road to the cabin is very curvy and steep but views are amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was spacious and clean. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The roads to the Cabin are very steep and did give some trouble due to rain and fog but it didn't affect our stay. We will be staying with fireside chalets again!

We could not ask for a better view and great sunsets. We felt like we were secluded on a mountain retreat even though houses were near by. Much better than being in town but not too far away. Kitchenware needs updating and the pool table was in bad shape with only one working stick but I still give it a 5 star

we did not get into our cabin until 7pm bc the cleaning people did not show up until 5pm. when we called they were very rude and said they sent an email that check in was from 4 to 6pm. the website says check in is at 4pm and the email they sent said after 4pm. they were very very rude

We enjoyed our stay! Very nice, clean, and the kids loved seeing the bear come through the yard.

We spent 5 nights at the cabin,, and atonal of 9 people. 6 adults, 1 teenager and 2 small children (ages 3 and 1).The property was as described and pictured. There is a wonderful view of the valley with mountains in the distance. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We had an odd issue with the towels in 1 bedroom suite, but it was immediately taken care of. There is a baby gate in a bedroom closet used to block the stairway.
The only negative was the grill. We cook all our meals at the cabin, with most being on the grill. I had called and specifically asked about the grill / propane before our trip. When we arrived, the propane was empty. One call to the office and they brought us a new tank. However, the grill was filled with old Grease and the burner shields were missing. Our 1st attempt resulted in the fire extinguisher being used. (Note that we have very mature, experienced grillers and NO alcohol was involved.) Again, I made one call to the office, and they sent maintenance with another grill. However, the 2nd grill was worse than the first one. They also explained that they never replace the burner shields when they rust out- which is not very safe. My husband spent about an hour cleaning and working on the first grill. We lined the racks with aluminum foil and was able to safely use it. So if you are there on the next few weeks, the larger grill should be good to use - thanks to my husband. Just move the grill out from the cabin just in case.
Recommend stopping at the nearby Dollar General to get misc supplies / food. Pretty well stocked and good prices. If you are there several days, you will need toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and dishwasher pods. They do not leave many supplies for stays longer than a day or 2. Also, there were only 2 kitchen towels/rags. We ended up using hand towels and wash clothes.
BEARS! Yes, we had a bear sighting. A mama and 2 cubs in the yard below the deck, and then the mama on our deck right outside the front door. Be very cautious when going outside. Recommend having someone on watch when using hot tub or deck. She was on the deck around 2:30 in the afternoon. And for the live of Pete - follow all the bear safety quidelines with trash, food, etc.
Overall, we were very pleased with the cabin and the customer service. A new grill and more supplies on multi-day stays would bump it up to a 5 star for my review.

We absolutely loved the cabin and it was perfect for our family. My very elderly parents enjoyed the handicap room and our son and his family had the entire downstairs. The decks offer spectacular views and the hot tub was great for the grandkids. We had a couple issues, our shower was not cleaned properly and the grill had no propane but overall that wasn't a game changer. We do plan to rent again. Be sure when completing their rental paperwork that you have a computer guru to get through, let's just say it was very frustrating.

We had a great time at this beautiful cabin. The place is cozy and the cathedral ceiling overlooking the woods adds the most perfect charm. The christmas decoration were very cute. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans. I would definitely like to be back!

The kitchen was very well stocked and easily allowed cooking Thanksgiving meal for eleven. The space was comfortable, and allowed different activities in different parts of the house. The views are amazing, and YES, we did have a visit from a bear!

We spent a week at the rental and it was a wonderful time. The views from the porch are amazing. The cabin is very cozy and welcoming after a day of hiking. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a great location near Gatlinburg.

The cabin was beautiful and the view was great. We had a great view of the mountains and we also seen a bear. The cabin was spacious and because it was only a few of us we had lots of room. The hot tub was great and the rooms were nice. We're already talking about going back again in the future.

Our family loved this home. Will definitely try to rent it again when in the Pigeon Forge area.

My family of 9 spent Labor Day weekend in this beautiful home. It is gorgeous inside and out. The 3 king-size beds slept well and were a huge plus for us. Having 4 and 1/2 baths was also great. Of course our kids enjoyed the game room. We loved the decor/theme for each room. The views were wonderful!
We would definitely stay in this home again. The location is perfect. Peaceful and serene environment but not too far from attractions, restaurants and shopping.
As Vacationers who have used VRBO for years, we offer the following suggested improvements to make this a 5-star plus home:
*The wheelchair ramp was one of the main reasons we rented this home and it is wonderful. The front door on the main level is not wheelchair accessible due to the height of the threshold. One family member is in a power chair. We were able to get him in and out but only because we had strong guys with us. Owners may want to consider adding a gradual grade for the entrance.
*The bedrooms and game room on the lower level were equally awesome. However, there is no way to leave the home from that level in the event of an emergency.
**While it keeps things cold, the refrigerator needs to be replaced (broken handle, missing shelves, drawer broken, etc.)
*Newer pots and pans would be a plus. A few added items in the kitchen would make it awesome (measuring cups, matching wine glasses, more than one dish cloth and a couple of dish towels, etc.)
Again, this is a wonderful home and we would definitely stay here again.
