About this apartment rental

The pictures shown on the website are extremely favorable compared to the real experience. The apartment is located in the middle of a large holiday apartment complex with people walking by frequently, thus no privacy. It is old, very cheaply furnished and no one bothered to update even the most basic wear and tear items. The mattress was so old (and also had a funny smell) and used that the springs stuck out. The outdoor furniture (a barrel table, four bar chairs and two sunbeds) were so uncomfortable (with the notable exception of the sunbeds) that they were hardly usable for more than 10 minutes. Be aware that the apartment does not provide anything other than furniture and dishes. As such, there is no bedding, towels or wifi. While the apartment claims to be airconditioned, the AC may not be used at night, the only time when the AC would have been important to have (which effectively means that there’s no AC). It also, while cooling the room, makes loud “boom” noises in about three-minute intervals. Contrary to the claim on the website, Edith, the owner, does not speak English, which makes communication with her extremely difficult if you do not speak French. All in all, we cannot recommend the place, especially once we realized that the place is not only substandard, but also overpriced. You can find a much better deal literally everywhere else, even the hotel much closer right at the beach, charges the same price.
