Pride and Joy is a beautiful, family friendly home. We were steps from the beach and the screen porch was absolutely wonderful!

Awesome location. Close to the downtown places and bars. Right on the ocean. Couldn’t get any closer.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had a group of 11 people and a wide range of ages. The location was perfect for all of us, with the beach access being key for the four boys (6, 8, 10, 12) to play whenever they wanted to. If we had been in downtown Charleston, we would have definitely missed this easy access to a beautifully serene place to play and witness some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. It was an easy 25-minute drive into Charleston for any activity we wanted.
The only thing I would caution is you have to climb a rather tall staircase to access the house, so keep this in mind if you have anyone in your party with limited mobility. My in-laws were able to (slowly) navigate the stairs, but it was a little intimidating at first.
It was a perfect location and we'd love to go back some day!
