Log Cabin Living on the Esopus Creek

As much as I want to gatekeep this gem, it really deserves another 5-star review.Years before Bravo came out with “Below Deck,” I was a stewardess on 150’ private megayachts. To say I have high standards of cleanliness is an understatement; we cleaned vents with q-tips and polished every single fingerprint off every single surface throughout every single day.This log cabin is the nicest, cleanest, tidiest rental I’ve ever stayed in. Mike and Joanne have gone above and beyond to ensure things are in order for each new visitor and all the furnishings and utensils are new/very gently used.That’s the tip of the iceberg; they’re also incredibly kind and hospitable. I came here for a solo escape from the overstimulation of downtown Manhattan living—wow did I hit the jackpot. On the evening of my second and last night, it began to snow. Mike checked in on me, making sure I felt safe and had everything I needed. I woke up to a fairytale; we got 12” overnight! But by midday, Mike had the road and driveway cleared, right up to my driver’s side door.I’m already looking at dates to plan my return.

Wonderful place to stay The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Scenery from cabin was exquisite. Really enjoyed this place would definitely recommend!

We loved the cabin! It was a real treat to stay there. It was designed for comfort and complete relaxation. Clean and beautifully decorated! The location on Esopus Creek is amazing and the views are stunning! The cabin was a little hard to find with GPS but our host Mike guided us there with no problem. We would highly recommend this cabin for a quality stay when in the Hudson River Valley!

The home was just as described and spotless Host was fabulous and very responsive Views were lovely. We hope to visit again soon
