This posting is for an OCEANVIEW. Resort assigns room numbers about a week or two before check in. They do take requests, will depend on availability (side of building, higher floor, etc). I can occasionally request a specific room. They do guarantee it will be an Oceanview room.
For any other room type, I will provide a separate quote - just ask...

Great location and a great resort! Enjoy the comfort and service of a hotel with the independence and convenience of a self catering condo complete with suites twice the size of luxury hotel rooms featuring over-sized tubs and separate showers in the luxury bath and fully functional kitchen area.
Resort charges ~$17 per night Hawaii Occupancy tax collected at the resort. All other Hawaii taxes show up in total price.
Relax amid the tropical garden atrium's and relaxing waterfalls!

Great resort with a lot of amenities. Only negative was the elevators had constant issues for our stay.

The view is excellent. Not a wrap around balcony like I envisioned, but a corner room, so lots of peace and quiet as long as you don't mind staring at your neighbors who are on their balconies as well...no privacy here, but we didn't mind.
Although the property claims to be sanitized, there were hairs on the bathroom celing(?!) that were there at check in, and dirt and food in the pullout couch. Additionally, the shower did not drain.
All issues were corrected by housekeeping or maintenance upon request-very responsive.
The only other issue we had was people reserving chairs at the pool. There are rules that there are time limits, but there is no enforcement...making it difficult to lounge if you follow the rules.
Little frustrations but overall a great stay at our fave location.
