About this lodge
The Diamond Spur Lodge is a brand new spectacular vacation home with 4 bedrooms/ 2 baths on the main level and three more queen sized beds and another full bath in the extended loft. It is located on the property of the Double Diamond Ranch, LLC where we raise quarter horses and our horses love the attention from our guests. The lodge is designed to be handicap accessible with one ADA handicap friendly bathroom. The fully furnished home is complete with a gourmet kitchen, satellite tv, wifi, fireplace, central air conditioning, washer/dryer, and beautiful views of the Black Hills and the two Creeks on the property. Outside there is a private hot tub, gas grill and oversized propane fire pit along with a volleyball net, corn hole, and other games. The Double Diamond Ranch horses come up to the fence that borders the Diamond Spur Lodge so its easy to get your "horse fix" while staying at the Lodge. There is also lots of space for hiking and taking walks on the property or trying your luck at fishing in Spring Creek. We are also just 1 mile from Sheridan Lake which has a great swimming beach. This lodge is a Blue Ribbon Property. It is located in the center of the Black Hills or as the locals call it, the "Heart of the Hills". Great Location to take in all the attractions during the day and be back to relax in the evening. What a fantastic family vacation we had here at Diamond Spur Lodge! The home is absolutely beautiful and immaculate and was well-supplied with everything we needed. It was a joy to cook in the lovely well-designed kitchen. Hot water for the showers was readily available with plenty of towels for both showering and hot tubbing. We had plenty of space for everyone and all the beds were so comfortable! We especially loved using the hot tub after our busy days of hiking. The children loved playing outside and we all enjoyed watching the horses. The surrounding view from the lodge is spectacular and so very peaceful! Location here is everything. We truly were in the “Heart of the Hills” and were able to easily drive to our desired daily activities. The owner was easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome. We all hope to return to this very special haven in the future!!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful setting in the black hills. Lee Ann was responsive and helpful. I would recommend staying here for anyone looking for a place for a large family gathering.

Our stay at the Diamond Spur Lodge was amazing to say the least. We came with a total of 11 people full of teen/adult kids as well as 2 seniors. The layout is great for multiple families. The location is convenient if you want to hit all the main attractions with the majority of them being 30 mins or less away. Beautiful house, great hostess and sweet horses right in your backyard. Leann was a gem. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect home for a family vacation. We had plenty of space and the house is conveniently located to all the local attractions. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of towels and the kitchen is well thought out with anything you might need to prepare meals. The fire pit and hot tub were both very nice to take advantage of in the evenings. We would love to come back! Thank you for an amazing place to stay.
