Villa Rosa, One Bedroom Apartment with shared pool and stunning sea views

The grounds at Villa Rosa are magnificent with the most marvellous trees and tropical plants, and views from every angle. The apartments are south facing with a view to Zakaynthos island and to the North of Mount Enos. A short drive from the airport and the capital Argostoli. The beaches are easy walking distance. The restaurant area and small supermarket are also walking distance but uphill . It’s better to have a car but taxis would be okay and we did see bus stops. We walked mainly because that’s part of the holiday for us. Our apartment had a lovely upstairs bedroom and a very nice outdoor patio with table and chairs. We more or less spent most of our time at the apartment sitting outside on the patio. The pool area is absolutely beautiful, as is the sparkling clean pool. We had breakfast at the poolside bar and lovely Greek coffee and other drinks. As we were there at the end of the season the opening times of the bar were restricted but it all suited our needs perfectly. If you want a pool and beach holiday in a quiet area with sublime Mediterranean views this is the place for you. We did use our car but for us coming from London a stress free holiday was just wonderful. The family who run these apartments are so very nice and friendly and ensure you have what you need. We loved it as a late getaway to the sun , it worked out really well for us, with a mini hurricane thrown in for good measure at the end.

Superb location, amongst the best in the 'Med'. Great views of sea and mountains. Very clean and well maintained. Run by family owners who are really friendly and helpful, Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool and bar areas are excellent and the food and drink are top class. My wife and I have visited each year for past 12 years, which speaks for itself.
