Between Carnac and Lorient, private individual rents new Villa (2013) designed by architect of 170 m2 with view and sea access at 100 m.
This villa benefits from a large terrace, a secure and heated swimming pool (alarm and solar cover) and a 700m2 garden.
All rooms have a sea view: living room with open kitchen of 50m2, 3 master bedrooms with double beds and 1 large bedroom of 30 m2 for children with 3 pull-out beds. 2 shower rooms, 1 bathroom, ..

The property is fantastic, tucked away for perfect peace & quiet. Very well equipped & extremely clean. The views are wonderful & it’s a 2 minute walk to the estuary which is great for collecting shells & Skimming stones. The pool is sufficiently heated to make it pleasant in hot weather. The beaches beyond the estuary are very clean and safe and only a 5 minute drive away. We worried about check in as other reviews had mentioned that with not speaking French it was a problem. This is not the case at all. Although not fluent, Marjorie can converse and she is the most wonderful, accommodating host. Nothing is too much trouble. We vacated the house in the early hours of the morning and she arrived with a smile to wave us off. Fantastic week in a perfect holiday home. Thankyou x

We (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog) enjoyed every day of our two weeks' stay in this house. The beds are extraordinary good and also all other equipment in the house is very well maintained, including the pool outside. We loved to walk just across the field to take out our SUP during high tide and searched for clams and crabs during low tide. We also visited several beaches (just a few kilometers by car), which are perfect for kids (and dogs, as on most beaches around Plouhinec you are allowed to take your dog to the beach on a leash, also during summer weeks). Majorie was at all times very helpful and responsive and introduced us to some "specialty drinks". Special thx to her. One very minor thing: Plates, cutlery and other kitchen stuff would have to be checked between guests, they were not really clean. This house is just as great as the pictures promise! A very relaxing holiday in an extremely calm environment - we can only recommend!

Unfortunately the beach was miles away & not within walking distance. The sea view is an inlet that goes to mud. There were no bars or restaurants within walking distance except for one bar which opened from 10-2pm & 4-10pm. The restaurants that u had to drive to were only open until 2pm then 7-9pm for food. Where the property is situated, It was like visiting a ghost town. Would never go there again.

We were very happy during our five night stay in this lovely house. It is perfectly located on the bay, and when you are on the property you cannot see any other homes - very private, yet you are within walking distance of town. Since the house is brand new it had a sparkling clean feeling and the kitchen was well equip with all the cooking essentials. We found the caretaker (Sandrine) very helpful and friendly. HINT...It is best to arrive during the daylight as the house, while only about 35 meters off the main road, is tucked away and might be challenging to find at night. There are so many places to explore in Brittany and this home is well situated on the southern shore - we drove all over - to the most western shore (past Brest) and north to St. Malo. We thought the coastal area of Brittany quite charming. The water is warm for swimming even in September. If you love delicious food, we recommend Allium in Quimpier for lunch midweek (excellent one star menu for under 30 euro) and don't miss the charming town of Port Louis just 15 minutes from the house. Great running paths all around the house, and a good area to go bicycle riding -- definitely would return - a great vacation spot.

This is a fantastic villa, however when we arrived I telephoned the person I was told to and was told that they weren't expecting us until the following day, and then she hung up on me. Eventually we managed to speak to her and say we are definitely arriving today, there had been some confusion in communication with her and the owner. The wifi, tv and DVD player were not working. The DVD player never worked and the wifi was back mid week. Even though I continually expressed that we didn't care about the wifi or tv we just would like the DVD working so the children could watch a film when they woke up early nothing was ever done about it. At the end of the week a man came and installed smoke alarms throughout the property which was nice to know they were there but worrying to think there were none for most of our week there! Communication with the owner wasn't great as they do not live close by you have to communicate with the lady who runs the place. I have no doubts that if we were French then the communication would not have been so bad, as the lady spoke no English which was fine as we speak enough French to get by but just a warning if you are English and book this villa. The pool was great however I would think that to say it was 'heated' was an exaggeration, it's tepid. Overall a lovely place to stay just a shame about the not very good welcome and lack of DVD player.
