In bedrooms are blankets, extrapillows for your sleep needs, a lot of space for your personal belongings and a TV.
We provide for the bathroom, soap, bath foam, shampoo, clean towels, hairdryer and toilet paper.
In the living room you will find a SofaBed, a Notebook connected to WiFi network for your online search and a bluetooth speaker for your music.
You can find in the kitchen water, cofee, tea, sugar, salt and oil.
Furthermore Coffee machine, electric kettle, stove, washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, oven, microwave and of course heating system, hot water, A/C (windows have double glazing for a pleasant stay and a restoring sleep).
The whole apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with fully equipped kitchen and a bolcony) is at your disposal. Furthermore all the builindgs amenities included the shared garden are available.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Salario/Trieste neighborhood is a central area of Rome, but thanks to its position and to 4 marvellous garden such as Villa Torlonia and Villa Borghese is still quiet and relaxing . It offers exciting experience too, thanks to its fantastic and mysterious Coppedé's neighborhood and MACRO Museum of Contemporary art.
You can enjoy a lots of different restaurants and café.
I will be glad to give you any advice or even to take you for a walk exploring the area.
HOW TO MOVE
Moving around will be easy and fast, thanks to close bus and tram stops.
On request will be possible:
- renting a bike
- reserving a parking spot for your car.

Overall good place to stay. Be aware though the owner will charge you a deposit if you travel with kids. If this was listed on his description I would have prepared for it. It is not listed on VRBO so i was met with owing hom 200 euros at arrival. I got it back but I dont like surprises and that took out of my trip money. I plan for everything so if I am met with a surprise expense it is irritating. Home is nice, not down town Rome. Buses work good most of the time. Overal nice I dont think Id stay again but mainly just my preferences.

We spent six great weeks in the Elephant Apartment in the area known as Trieste Salario in Rome. This area is not overrun by tourists; you are in a true Roman neighborhood, not in part of the theme park into which much of Rome is turning. There are supermarkets, restaurants and stores within two to three blocks of the apartment. The convenience of the apartment to bus and tram transport to anywhere in the city can not be exaggerated and, in our experience, was one of the major attractions of the apartment. Coupled with the ItTaxi app if you wish, transportation is easy. The apartment is in a solid period building built in the nineteen-twenties with a quaint elevator that never seemed busy. The apartment, while dated, is a true two-bed, two-bath large enough to accommodate two couples or a family of four easily. One bedroom is essentially a separate en-suitel. The washer and dryer were welcome, as was the full sized refrigerator, stove, electric coffee pot, toaster and older micro wave oven. Beds are firm but comfortable with plenty of linens and blankets. Alberto, the apartment manager, was helpful and responsive. The check in and out was easy. It was great to have the convenience of the apartment. In sum, the apartment, while basically and inexpensively furnished, was comfortable, very clean and we would highly recommend the neighborhood and the apartment.

Our host was perfect as he was very helpful on all the issues. We had a problem with the air conditioning and he made a lot of efforts to alleviate the situation. The apartment is well placed and has good transportation to all parts of the city. Overall a great place to stay.

Besides the heat of Rome, we enjoyed exploring what the city had to offer. Would definitely stay here again a very charming building.
