"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in La Terrazza in the very special Villa Basso at Monte San Angelo on the Gargano Promontory. Villa Basso is a beautiful old villa which Maria, our host, has restored in a most tasteful and sensitive manner. Our apartment was a comfortable combination of old with modern facilities and little touches that made it more like a home than a rental apartment. We greatly appreciated Maria’s friendliness and generosity and enjoyed the Villa Basso olive oil. We loved looking out beyond the marvellous terrace over the olive groves to the Golf di Manfredonia. The gardens are beautiful and even in late October there were pomegranates, quinces, lemons, oranges and clementines. Villa Basso is a lovely peaceful location from which to explore the beauty of the Gargano Promontory and down towards Bari and then return to relax on the terrace."

"Villa Basso is a very beautiful place with a stunning view. Maria Grazia is very nice and friendly and so even some problems with the washing machine and the fridge couldn't effect our relaxing holidays. We would always return to Villa Basso without hesitation."
