Tucked away in the North Georgia mountains just minutes from downtown Helen, Hibernation Station is the perfect cozy retreat for couples, friends, or a small family getaway. Thoughtfully designed with comfort and privacy in mind, this charming mountain cabin invites you to slow down, reconnect, and truly relax.
Step inside and instantly feel at home in the warm, inviting living space featuring comfortable furnishings, natural light, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with both a traditional drip coffee maker and Keurig for slow mountain mornings.
The split-bedroom layout makes Hibernation Station especially ideal for two couples traveling together. The spacious king suite and private queen suite are located on opposite sides of the cabin, each offering its own en suite bathroom and private access to the covered back porch for peaceful mornings and quiet evenings.
Outside, mountain living takes center stage. Sip coffee while listening to the sounds of nature, fire up the gas grill for dinner with a view, then unwind beneath the stars in the private hot tub. This property was absolutely perfect for our family trip to Helen.The location is quiet and away from neighbors with a beautiful Mountain View but easy yo get to and only a 5 minute trip into Helen. Location was close to the local falls and trails. The hot tub was great to come back to after a day of walking/hiking. The house was charming and very clean. It reminded me of staying at a grandparent’s cabin that was meticulously maintained and welcoming. The Georgia Mountain Rental company was very responsive and even lett us switch to this property from another one of their properties last minute. I highly recommend.

The cabin was great. My gf and I went for our 3 year anniversary. It was clean. It was cozy. The view with coffee in the morning was fantastic. Beds were comfy. We'll probably go back at some point. Just wish my gf and I could have been able to use the hot tub. The jets were working but it just wouldn't heat up to the proper temp. Hopefully it's in working order by the time we come back.
