The property was even better in person! We loved the privacy and my 4 year old loved the freedom he had to roam with no worries in the world. The cabin was clean and comfy and welcoming! We plan to visit many more times!

We stayed at the Cowboy cabin. It was exactly what we expected and worked perfectly for our trip. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and comfortable. My wife even commented on nicely the cabin smelled. The area around the cabin is very open and the view from the cabin was great. There were no other cabins within sight of the property which gave us a great sense of privacy and sense that we were really "getting away". The property owner was easy to communicate with when it came to any questions we had which were few. We enjoyed our stay and we were very pleased. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

We brought our side by side down to ride but they had gotten ALOT of rain so lots of flooding. We made the best of it though. The cabin was so clean and homey! And Holly was a great host! Thanks again!

All was great except for two things, so I hate to even say anything negative. The only 2 problems were the recliners were filthy and the kitchen stove backsplash had grease running down it. All other areas of the cabin were awesome, the views outside, we saw many deer, the cabin itself was really nice, the quietness of the area, just everthing else was great.

Myself, my husband and our two boys stayed for four nights at the Cowboy Getaway. We brought two 4-wheelers and two dirt bikes and basically spent the whole time exploring the property and even road over to Wolf Pen Gap to spend the day. This was a wonderful family vacation that we’ll never forget.

Everything was perfect from the utv rental to the beautiful view to a clean and comfortable cabin that felt like home. We could not have asked for a better visit! Our stay at the Cowboy Getaway was so relaxing and enjoyable. The host, Holly, was wonderful to answer and address all of our needs promptly. The cabin is so cute with the cowboy theme throughout. There is even a totem pole in the front room. We also absolutely loved the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away from it all.

My husband and I spent our 16th anniversary in this nice and seculded cabin. The cabin is well stocked and well laid out. The bed in the master suite was very comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with and even brought us a box fan to make our stay more comfortable. The upstairs jetted tub was wonderful, though it would have been better if the owners would install a high flow faucet instead of the same faucet that is in the kitchen sink. Took almost 20 mins to fill the tub. The jacuzzi outside was wonderful for relaxing and stargazing. If you are looking for a secluded place to spend a few days this place is it!

Nice house. Very big property including ATV trails. Good access to hiking trails within 30 miles. We suffered a couple of small things: an abundance of house flies, and the bbq grill was flimsy.

Loved the privacy the hot tub doesn’t get hot at all didn’t even get to use it the house isn’t as clean as I would have expected it to be riding trails are fun but in rough shape in my opinion it was more fun to ride on the grass around the cabin in 3 nights and two days we had 2 different families stop and ask us to get there side by sides unstuck luckily we had no issue I also felt like it was kinda weird to ask guest to start the laundry and take all garbage out prior to checking out when we arrived for check in the cleaning lady was still at the cabin i don’t think I’d stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness and bc the hot tub isn’t hot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy’s Getaway! The cabin had more than enough room and we loved exploring the property on the UTV. The owners were very responsive anytime we had a question. Our kids loved seeing wildlife and catching a glimpse of the mountains. The views from the balcony and cabin were awesome. We’d love to stay again!

We had an amazing time, we had elected to change out Thanksgiving celebration this year and this experience proved to be great experience! There was a perfect amount of unplugging yet still having cell service which was much needed. We rented a UTV to enjoy the trails, very beautiful! The property manager was very responsive. We will be back hopefully in the spring. Thank you!

We were able to relax and enjoy the outdoors in quiet. There were other cottages around but we were still secluded. There was a relaxing hot tub that fit the 4 of us, a fire pit for s’more, and paths to take leasure walks. Nice and relaxing.
