Our stay was so nice! This house is so beautiful and comfortable! And SpaciousThe pool was so relaxing we ate several of our meals out by the pool! Will definitely request this precious house again!

3.5 stars. Like the other reviews, we found this home to be very comfortable, spacious and a good location. We took off 1.5 stars because of our experience with the heated pool and bike “amenities” in the listing. While the owners specifically ask for five star reviews and promise to be responsive to any issues, that was the exact opposite of our experience.
At both the time of our booking and our stay, the listing had “heated pool” as an amenity and no language about requesting the pool be heated and paying a fee (as it does now). If that language had been there, we would have gladly made the request and paid the fee - after all the heated pool was a main reason we chose this house. Having a cold (and not very clean) pool really put a damper on our stay, especially for our kids. We reached out to the owner twice about the pool - on our 1st full day and again on our 3rd day (2nd day was too cold to be in pool.) The first text was met with silence. Never acknowledged or addressed. The second text told us we had to request the pool be heated and pay for it. When we pointed out that the listing did not say anything about the request and fee requirements, we got ZERO response. No apology. No thank you for pointing out the misleading listing. Nothing. We are glad to see they’ve amended their listing due to this issue but it would have been nice for the owner to try to remedy the situation or at least respond to us.
In addition, the listing says to request bikes which implies the house has them available. Instead, when we made the request the owner merely sent a link to rent bikes in town. That makes bikes an amenity of the town and not part of the house.
