About this cabin rental

The cabin does have a full size kitchen, washer&dryer, fireplace, large 5x7ft jacuzzi, queen bed, flat screen tv, and a covered porch with rocking chairs. Tucked in the mountains only about a ten minute drive from main st. Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. All general cooking needs are supplied.
.Guest do provide bed sheets and towels. We provide pillows, bedspread, and mattress pads
We will allow one adult dog under 15 lbs with a 200.00 refundable pet deposit NO LARGER DOGS

The place was clean. AC and heat worked well. However, you need to provide your own towels, sheets, pillow cases, shampoo, conditioner, body soap. I'd suggest being your own comforter as well.The Jacuzzi isn't really usable. The hot water heater isn't large enough to fill the tub up with hot water. and if you try youll have a lukewarm tub and won't be able to take showers any time in the near future.

We enjoyed our stay despite the cabin being very rustic and in need of some updating. However, it was not advertised as a top of the line, new cabin so we expected it to be rustic. It was a bit hard to get past the old smell though. The carpet needs to be removed & a few updates would make it much nicer place. Location was great. It was very quiet and easy to get to and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was close to downtown & definitely met the needs we had for this trip. We were vacationing with family members who were camping so we didn’t need anything fancy. It’s worth the stay if you are looking for a rustic, earthy, cabin.

I will start off by saying these are very nice cabins and great if you’re hiking. It could use better cleaning, as there were lots of cobwebs on the stair case and spider webs on lamps. Carpeting upstairs was outdated and had what looked like bleach or vacuum powder stains all over? Additionally, there were three huge spiders living in the jacuzzi so we decided not to use it. The plug was in need of replacement and the bathroom exhaust was extremely loud so we had to take off the cover so it wouldn’t screech. Fireplace can’t be used between April and September, which was a bummer but understandable. Would have been nice to know. I really think this would be a 4/5 stay if the place was given more TLC. Additionally, not ideal to check in at the convenience store (between certain hours) and be given one key. Ensure you read that there are absolutely no linens or towels, despite there being a washer and dryer in the unit, which is perplexing. It was my fault for missing that but we didn’t have time to stop at the store for towels so we were using shirts and just slept with the top comforter. Comfortable bed to sleep in and comfortable couch. Lastly, beware of the incline parking. It is extremely steep so we had to park one of our cars at the convenience store because the parking brake doesn’t work very well. Perfect getaway all things considered for a decent price in a convenient location.

The cabins are rustic. We were unsure about check in (where to go). Had to ask someone in another cabin. Not a big deal. The folks at Greenbrier Grocery were nice. The shower had a couple of extra guests (spiders). The check out procedures were also not as clear. We did t know we were supposed to leave the key at the cabin and leave it unlocked. All in all, we had an enjoyable weekend.

This property ( Brentleys Honeymoon Cabins) was an absolute joy to stay in. It was in a fantastic area, that was central to great shopping, hiking, and downtown Gatlinburg. My only complaint would be that the sub-floor under the toilet was very soft like there had been a leak that wasnt properly repaired (as a builder that stuff bothers me) so the toilet leaned to the left when you're sitting on it. Other than the leaning toilet the property was amazingly clean, and in great condition. The carpenter bees were having a field day though, and there was only one trap so they may want to consider adding some more. Will definitely be booking with them again for future stays with the wife

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. The location is close to everywhere we wanted to be. There were a few dust bunnies joining us, but overall it was very clean and accommodating. There were no bugs inside the cabin and we were able to see the wildlife right outside our windows. The only downside for me was the lack of linens. I read in the listing that towels and sheets would e provided, but after arriving and reviewing the listing, I saw another spot that said guest will provide. Hopefully that typo will be fixed so the next couple doesn't have to make an unnecessary purchase at Walmart before sleeping or showering. We will definitely return and book here again in the future!!

Decent-good experience. The tub and bed were both rather nice and we got alot of use out of them. One of the stove eyes did not work, nor did the oven. Some of the left over plates were dirty and the toilet made a lot of noise after flushing it. None of these are major problems if you're not a snob. One thing that did frustrate me is that i could not get a hold of anyone for checkout. I left around 7:30 and i believe the check-in shop opens at 9. I called and was sent to voicemail, wanted to call again before 11:00 but by that point i was at Cades Cove with no signal so i hope it wasnt an inconvenience for management.

This property was absolutely unacceptable. There was a bathtub in the living room which was supposed to be the hot tub advertised. The rocking chairs on the porch were broken. The worst of all was there was water damage on almost every wall in the downstairs. My allergies went crazy when we walked in. Not sure if it was mold or mildew but my eyes started watering! We packed up and went back to check in to discuss a partial refund. The son working the desk called his dad- the owner. He was condescending and said he went over the condition of the cabin in the several conversations we had. I had NEVER spoken with this man. He refused to even consider a partial refund. We left and found other accommodations. Needless to say I am contacting my attorney today.

Overall was really wonderful. The kitchen was very clean and the washer and dryer were very clean. The decor and carpet was a bit outdated but it didnt bother us at all. There were several spiders in the jacuzzi, bathrrom sink, (prob looking for water) and spiderwebs over the bed which made me nervous. The front porch rockers need to be repaired or replaced as they were both broken or unstable And there was some sort of mouse or critter problem. When we arrived there was rodent feces on the mattress i just brushed it off because when you live in the country sometimes theres mice so we are used to it but at might they were really loud in the walls!!! Right behind the bed it freaked me outm i finally had to bang on the wall in an effort to scare them off and put on music so we could try to sleep. Other than a few critters and the rocking chairs it was really a wonderful stay. Very private, very pretty surroundings there werent any pictures but therss actually a pretty nice veiw through the trees. And the jacuzzi was by far my favorite part. It was big enough for both of us to enjoy and we arent small people. We would both recommend someone stay here and we would come again.

Nice cabin close to downtown. We liked everything about it except 2 things. You need to bring your own linens and towels. I guess they do this so they don't have to take the time to do laundry? So I would suggest you bring your own comforter/ blanket. It's not convenient to bring that extra stuff on a trip. Second issue the A/C thermostat wouldn't go under 70. The bed is up stairs so it was hot at night to sleep. Those were the only issues we had. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

This is in a great location if you are attending an event at the Rocky Top Sportsplex. The cabin was clean but sparsely appointed and everything looked rather dated (70s). Brent was great to work with. There is no Wi-Fi.
