Apartment located in quiet, safe new development area with a community park, grocery stores and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Lovely fully furnished apartment with equipped kitchen, bathroom, WiFi internet, flat screen TV for the few cable channels available in Senegal. Perfect for a couple or signal person. This new development area isn't hooked up to the city's water system yet so a huge water truck delivered water on a daily basis for local residents. Fortunately, this apartment has a 50 gallon reserve tank to hold water for daily use and is refilled upon request. It was also nice to have cleaning service every two days. The downside of this apartment: have to walk up four flights of stairs (may not be a problem if you're healthy), showerhead had no pressure, but this is an easy fix. Taxi costs about 2,000 to 3,500 CFA to/from airport, Almadies area and other attractions.
