The apartment is located on Elbhang overlooking the Elbe and Blue Wonder and very mat to the funicular and the oldest suspension railway in the world.
Nearby you will find good restaurants, cafes, beer gardens and the Elbe romantic Elbhang-Müller Weingarten of the winemaker.
For sports activities, the Elbe cycling path and the Dresdner Heide offers.
In order to explore Dresden, start best from the breakpoint Dresden sightseeing spot.
The nearest bus stop of public transport lies only 50 m away. A tram station is in 700 m.

Gorgeous property in an excellent location. Beautiful view, even in early December. Very charming and quiet interior - large and comfortable bed, plenty of space, great shower with plenty of hot water, good heating, nice kitchen, very comfortable sofas. Wifi was fine for email and downloads, but sometimes a little unstable for streaming. Good restaurants and grocery stores in the area, and very good transit to the main areas of Dresden. Only a couple of small things to remark on: check-in and communication were rated 4 instead of 5 stars due to some problems contacting the host through the Vrbo app and text messages (but we were able to connect in the end.) The listing photos are very accurate, but 'accuracy of listing' is 4 instead of 5 stars because of missing details about the specific extra cost of sheets/towels (30 euro for 2 of us), and a 50 euro cash security deposit that was requested via email prior to checkin (however when we arrived it wasn't claimed, mostly due to the difficulty of scheduling an inspection at checkout.) Also it's good to know is that while the property is beautifully finished and a pleasure to stay in, there are almost none of the amenities one typically finds (no shampoo or shower gel, little in terms of 'basics' in the kitchen, and just the bare minimum of toilet roll.) Not a real problem - it just means an early trip to the store.

The apartment is spotless and well-furnished. There are so many drawers and closets, we filled only a small portion when we put our clothes away. This makes it easy to keep the place neat. The location is steps from the bus stop and a wonderful German bakery. There is a wonderful view of the Blaues Wunder Bridge from the two balconies.

We stayed for 5 weeks in this apartment - 2 adults and 2 children and it was great. Excellent apartment: clean, spacious and convenient kitchen and 2 bathrooms, one with shower. Great insulation, hot days - no problem. Perfect location, 2 min to a bus stop, close to a mall, stores, cinema, pharmacy. Very close to the river, great walking paths. Very close to a forest with pathways. The host was very, very nice. Always there to help us, and great advice for seeing the Dresden city. Overall A+

Wir durften die Fewo "blaues Wunder" eine Woche lang genießen. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum! Es fehlt an nichts, die Lage in Loschwitz ist grandios (mit Blick auf die schöne Brücke!), der Vermieter ist ein echter Kenner aller Lokalitäten. Er ist super nett, sehr sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele gute Tips gegeben. Wir können die Wohnung von Herrn Zickmantel nur aufs allerwärmste empfehlen - 5 Sterne!
