The tapas bars are very close, the beaches are less than 10 minutes walk away. The nightlife area, pubs, clubs are just a 5/10 minute walk away. The bus station is just 200 meters away. Also the taxi stop 200 meters away. Free parking 200 meters away. Nerja municipal swimming pool 15 minutes walk away. Nerja football and athletics stadium, 15 minutes walk away. Language schools very close. Supermarket, bakeries and pharmacies 100 meters away.

This is a nice, clean, very comfortable room only a 10 minute walk from the beach and Balcon de Europa so it was perfect for me. Although the road itself is out of the tourist centre and is quiet at night, it feels pretty safe and I had no worries coming home after drinks at 1AM. Inside the room you can hear a little road noise during the day but it is very unobtrusive. There is a supermarket less than one minute down the road.
Having a fridge in the room was a really nice extra, very relaxing to be able to drink a cold beer in bed!
Another great thing about this property is that there is a combination key safe in the foyer so you can leave your key for the room behind when you go out. This is really useful if you are going alone to the beach and wouldn't want to leave something like that unattended with your towel.
Owner Miguel was very helpful and gave lots of personal recommendations and information. However contacting him with a British mobile while in Spain was difficult because my whatsapp wouldn't connect us for some reason, so I ended up only getting the entry codes half an hour before my bus arrived in Nerja, which was nerve wracking! I would recommend future guests try and sort this stuff our well before their trip!
One detail I should mention that guests are not allowed to put paper down the toilet at this property. A bin is provided but it doesn't have a lid - a pedal bin with a lid would have been preferable. It can release toilet smells into the room when you take the take the bag out for trash collection which is unfortunate but unavoidable.
Overall a really nice place to stay though, in a good location with a helpful owner!
