About this apartment rental
Glamour nice loft, well-renovated semi-independent in a privileged location in the heart of the historic center of Catania, in front of Castello Ursino, an ancient fortress built by Frederick II of Swabia.
This old popular area today, in the growth phase, is totally revitalized and is the heart of Catania\'s life and gastronomical center of the local culinary culture.
The apartment consists of an open space with an entrance area/living room with dining area where there is a double sofa bed. At the same floor, there is a kitchen area and a balcony with direct views of the medieval castle.
The sleeping area consists of a very comfortable double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, and bathroom.
The house is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need for your stay: air conditioning and heating system in the all rooms, linens, towels, kitchen utensils, iron with ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle and gas, hairdryer.
The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet/bidet combination.
There are also: LED TV, DVD player, books/magazines, brochures and tourist brochures, background information, free wifi.
A few steps from the Duomo you can easily reach all the most interesting and symbolic places of the city, its culture, and its architecture. A few meters away there is the historical market of the fish market, the museum, the Benedictine monastery, the cathedral, the Etnea (main street of the city and sitting area), the Greek amphitheater and the Odeon, the opera Vincenzo Bellini. In the evening the square surrounding the Castello Ursino is full of typical restaurants and at a good price. The main rooms and pubs are in vogue right next to the square. From here you can certainly enjoy the town in full of its own attractions.
For those arriving by car parking, it is possible around the square by payment and free.

It was very clean and well equipped. The location was ideal - close to the main attractions eg fish market, duomo, etc. and interesting neighborhood. It was good to have the washroom on the same floor as the bedroom. Loved having the washer! We used the nearby Tourist Office to book tours and offer advice. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area.

Max was speed gentle and efficient.
His flat inside is perfect, good choices, nice decoration,lot of space ; you can find everything you need
We felt home very quickly
the geografic situation of the flat is very convenient near piaza del duomo, near fish market ...
we visited a lot all on foot
The only bad point is that sicilian people are very very noisy and the flat looks at castle place which is very crowdy at night ; happily the window panes are excellent and cut big part of the noise.
we ejoyed our stay in catania even going to a concert in the marvelous opera Bellini

Very nice and comfotable apartment in the old town of Catania, clean and attractive. The most sights you can reach on foot, restaurants, bars, shops and markets are nearby. Very likable and trusty contact persons. Everything was uncomplicatet and easy going. We enjoied our stay very much. Thanks and commendation!!!
