About this villa rental
The villa consists of two double bedrooms, one with a single bed with air conditioning, a small room with bunk beds, a bathroom, kitchen and large living room.
The house offers a beautiful veranda where you can admire the Faraglioni of Scopello and the entire Gulf of Castellammare, a garden with fruit trees of which you can use depending on the season .. figs and prickly pears in the hot summer, mandarins and oranges, in the fall, lemons and herbs cyclical.
From the house there is a strong smell of jasmine that will brighten your evenings on the veranda.
Outside the house trovere an outdoor shower, ideal after the sea ....
Outside you will find a small barbecue where you can roast ..
Hairdryer, Iron, Washing machine, WI-FI, are at your disposal.

The villa is pleasant enough situated just down the road from the village. We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful. Watch out for biting insects which were a real plague despite insect repellent and citronella candles.
Scopello is a pleasant little village with some nice places to eat. It seems to host a wedding every night so can be quite noisy. There are some lovely but rocky beaches nearby and some good walking in the Zingaro park but a car seems essential if you are going to see much of the island. Thank goodness we missed the current heatwave - it was quite hot enough for us as it was st the end of june

Perfect house for 2-4 with cold ac in both king size bedrooms. A third room has bunk beds and no AC. Kitchen is adequate for cooking and enjoying coffee or meals on the outdoor covered terrace. The rooftop is perfect for cocktails and sunsets. The business across the street has live music starting around 7pm every night in summer - you can dance on your own terrace. Only 2 minutes to Guidaloca beach for chairs and umbrellas. About 20 minutes to Castellammare beach.
The improvements needed is there are no linens provided for beds or extra towels if you should have guests and the king room mattress behind the kitchen needs to be replaced with a comfortable mattress. My husband really enjoyed the outdoor shower. We were able to get all our laundry washed.

TV didn't work - Claudia said she would get it fixed but it never happened. I know, who needs a TV in such a beautiful spot... the kids needed some occasional down time, or we could have watched a Word Cup game. 1/4 roll of toilet paper when we arrived.. that's it. Outside patio doesn't look like the pics. In general, there were a bunch of things that needed a little attention. The rooms, beds, floor plan were all great for a family of 4. A/C worked well. Short walk to awesome little town, with great restaurants and views of the coast. Short drive to beautiful beaches ( mostly rocky - great snorkeling ).
