Rejuvenate on 3 acres of landscaped grounds directly on Lake Whitehurst (freshwater fishing).

Where do I begin? Chuck. The one and only. He’s a delightful host, and I think I could have spent days talking to him about his estate, being surrounded by so many of my favorite things there, however, we were occupied by the festivities down on the beach most of our time- so i mostly saw him in the mornings and Charlotte, love her. My son slept in the main room and his first remark was “I have the best seat in the whole house” and he’s not wrong! The view from there is just spectacular. I also napped in various sleeping spaces and they’re all lovely and comfortable, I have back problems and I slept fabulously. The kitchen is exquisite and there’s always coffee waiting in the morning, thank you Chuck. I mean, I feel like every room could have an entire essay written about it. Even the grounds outside have their own story. I definitely enjoyed the swing hung up in a big tree out back with a great view of the lake, made me feel like a kid again. We all had a blast at the Point Break Music Festival, and chillin at the beach- but it felt so good to come rest at Chuck’s lovely home, I wish the weekend was longer!!!I hope to come for a longer visit at Wiseacre

The house was a shock in how great it was. The host Chuck is also super nice and accommodating.

First off I would just like to thank Chuck for having us stay at him home! Although we were only there for a few days, the time we spent was perfect! Chuck greeted us as we arrived, gave us a little tour of the home, and was sure to let us know that he would be there for anything we needed. The home was just as described, so peaceful and relaxing out in the back by the water. The location was ideal... close to the beach, downtown, the zoo and the aquarium (which was great for our two little ones). One thing to mention, I believe Chuck has not yet updated the pictures of the kitchen on the site... the kitchen has been renovated and is not only beautiful, but stocked with everything needed! Chuck even left out mugs and had coffee brewed and waiting for us before we woke up every morning. I would definitely recommend this property to others and would love to stay again when we are out that way!
