Comfy beds, spacious, room was perfect for family of 2 adults and 2 children.

Loved, loved our stay!! We were a group of 5 staying in a 2BR/2Ba unit. Loved the layout, especially the long table/couch (spent a lot of time hanging out in the living room eating and talking story). Front desk team were all friendly and helpful. Don't expect much from the in unit washer/dryer, as is typical with these units, it takes a long time to wash/dry. If you do use it, expect to hang dry your wash--lots of hangers provided. We did most of our laundry in the 2nd floor laundry room. 10 sets of washers and dryers and a load finished washing and drying in <2 hours versus the 6+ hours in the room. There's multiple convenience stores within a couple of minutes walk in any direction. There's lots of restaurants in the neighborhood (within a 5-10min walk). Ikebukuro Station is about 7 min away. Tobu depato is connected to the train station--lots of shopping in there! You could spend a day+ just wandering in the area. So many different shops. Wish we had had more time to explore! I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoy staying at Mimaru Hotels for the larger rooms especially traveling as a family. I liked that this location had two bedrooms, two baths with a washer and dryer. It was a bit of a walk from the train station and shortcut to the hotel is through a bar area which can feel seedy and dirtier but I never felt unsafe. For all the amenities this hotel chain offers, I would stay again. I have stayed at other Mimaru Hotels and felt that the layout of this location was a bit smaller with not a lot of room for luggage.

Location is close to JR, Tobu-Tojo line. Shopping nearby Tobu, Seibu. The downside, it’s close to nightlife ladies bar, hourly rate motels. However, there’s 24hrs pharmacy that carries a lot of skincare and cosmetics. There’s always a lot of people in the hotel lobby, corridors to the room is open (outdoor). Inside the room feels clean, tatami style but with thick mattress.
