The food was exceptional and the look was very colonial charm. The staff were very accommodating.

Unfortunately there was an event on whilst we were there about which we were not informed however the staff were very accommodating which we greatly appreciated.

The bedroom and bathroom were beautiful and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The property grounds are stunning.

We booked massages for 6pm on the evening we arrived. The booking hadn't been communicated to the spa staff so we sat waiting for 20 minutes in the lounge (the reception knew we were waiting) before they realised that the masseuses weren't there. They re-booked us for the following morning but the mistake could have been avoided and we were offered no sort of compensation or reduction for the inconvenience. The complimentary breakfast was fine but minimal given the cost of the room. Our room looked out onto an exterior corridor which didn't allow for privacy during the daytime. Also the pool isn't huge, has very few sun loungers and plays pretty bad music on a loop.
