Romance in Luberon

Fantastic location and a very friendly host

The location is fantastic and we enjoyed the most beautiful view and relaxing in the cozy surroundings. Vincent is a very friendly host and we felt very welcome and he helped when we needed. There is a fantastic restaurant (Restaurant L'Estrade) in Saint-Saturnin-les-Apt that is definitely worth visiting - remember to book a table!

We were a bit surprised that 2 beds were located in a room below the apartment, which was only accessible via a narrow hatch in the floor and a steep ladder down. The ceiling height in the extra room is only 160-175 cm so we could not walk upright in the room and there was no air conditioning and no fire alarm in the room. The apartment is only accessible via an external staircase, so it is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Both should be stated in the advertisement so that you are prepared for the conditions and can take precautions.

Wonderful place with a charming and welcoming host

A beautiful location immersed in the vineyards and lavender fields of Provence. The apartment was charming, with a breathtaking balcony view where you could have breakfast in the shade (unless you got up super late, by which time the sun rays would have appeared). When you walked through the apartment to the front door, you also had another fabulous view from that perspective—loved, loved the pool and the rustic setting. Vincent was a warm and generous host, welcoming us with a bottle of wine. He even presented us with another bottle when we used the bbq for the first time. The weather was hot, but the apartment was cool, and we didn't really feel the need to use the air conditioning too much. There were plenty of trees so you could take cover from the sun. While the house seemed isolated, you could take a half-hour walk to the quaint nearby village of Villars. There is plenty to explore in the vicinity, but it's also possible to visit places that are further away, such as Arles and Avignon, if you don't mind spending an hour and a half or so on the commute (we had our car). Vincent always had some good tips, depending on what we felt like doing on any particular day. It was also very easy to spend a day on the property, lounging by the pool and in the shade. Loved that there was always plenty of ice on hand. We travelled as a family of three, including our 16 yo, who loved the ready access to the pool. We could have easily stayed another week.

The wifi was a little spotty, but who needs wifi when you're on holiday?!

A must for holydays in Provence

The location is perfect to visit the Provence towns and villages. The apartment is very comfortable, nice and clean, perfect for relaxing. A lovely swim pool available for refreshing after a day spent in shopping and walking around. One word for the owner, Vincent, a true gentle and kindly person, with an exceptional eye for details, and passion for his job. We gonna come back for sure.

Sehr schöne und stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Balkon mit wunderbarer Aussicht und wunerschönen Sonnenauf- und untergängen. Pool und grosser Sitz- und Liegebereich. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben uns gut informiert und bei Fragen sofort geantwortet.

Établissement non adapté aux personnes d’un certain âge à savoir la table trop haute et les tabourets sans repose pied très inconfortable, difficile d’y rester assis longtemps et l’équipement était vraiment juste. Beaucoup d’escalier extérieur ainsi que celui pour l’accès à la mezzanine enfin, plafond, trop bas dans la mezzanine et un frigidaire très bruyant, la télévision mériterait d’avoir au moins les chaînes de la TNT.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sauber und authentisch. Die Lage mitten in den Weinbergen und der kleine Pool zum abkühlen machen die Lokation zu einem perfekten Ort zum chillen. Das Anwesen verfügt über ein großes Angebot an natürlichem Schatten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vincent ist ein wirkliches Original, den man einfach gern haben muss. Prima rustige lokatie om een weekje door te brengen

Mooie locatie. Fijne host. Prima bedden. Je zit bijna in de wijngaard en je loopt zo de natuur in langs velden met lavendel, kerrykruid en boomgaarden met olijf en granaatappel. Je kunt de auto prima parkeren. Alle apparatuur werkt.

Het balkon is klein en wanneer je zit kijk je tegen de betonnen railing aan. Je kunt wel als alternatief in de tuin overal gaan zitten. Zitjes genoeg. De sloten werken niet allemaal, maar door sluiten van de luiken kun je alles wel afsluiten. De trap naar de tweede slaapkamer is stijl en lastig. Als je met zijn tween bent heb je die niet nodig.
