Antik Malta

Le logement était très propre, fonctionnel et bien situé : arrêt de bus à 3min à pied, plage à moins de 5min… Mais surtout les propriétaires Mauro et Silvana ont été géniaux ! Disponibles à n’importe quel moment, sympathiques et arrangeants. C’était un vrai plaisir de loger chez eux et je n’hésiterai pas à choisir de nouveau ce logement si j’ai l’occasion de revenir à Malte !

Proprietari presenti, super disponibili, super attenti. Ci hanno aiutati da PRIMA che arrivassimo fino a dopo che ce ne siamo andati. ECCEZIONALI. Sono stati un supporto fondamentale alla nostra vacanza. L’appartamento è in una posizione super strategica per spostarsi. Molto comoda la sera per fare una bellissima passeggiata sul lungomare dove si trovano tantissimi locali ma allo stesso tempo è una zona molto tranquilla.

We had a wonderful stay in Mauro’s apartment and would happily return. The location is excellent — right by AntikMalta on the main bus routes, so getting anywhere on the island was easy. Even better is the swimming: Balluta Bay is a short stroll away with lovely deep water access, and the flat rock beaches, the beach club at Exiles and the vibe of students and bohemians at the Exiles bar for a sundown beer. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and well air conditioned, with a large comfortable bed, plenty of storage, cosy sofas and a luxurious bathtub. The kitchen and dining area are a real strength — spacious, well equipped with an enormous fridge. There’s no washing machine, worth knowing in advance, but it didn’t affect our stay. Mauro was an outstanding host: friendly, attentive, helpful when we hit problems and even rushed back when I accidentally forgot the keys. He is full of local information and sends helpful daily updates, including a timely heads-up about a weather warning that we’d otherwise have missed. He really made a difference. The surrounding area is great for eating and drinking. We’d particularly recommend Beirut Bay a Lebanese restaurant , and Frescos on the seafront for a drink overlooking Balluta Bay across to St Julian’s. There’s a local supermarket close by and even a Costa Coffee, which was very welcome after a morning swim. Couldn’t be better — highly recommended.

No washing machine.

L’ appartamento era molto pulito, abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo questo aspetto, oltre alla vicinanza ai mezzi pubblici e alla gentilezza e presenza costante di Mauro, che ci ha dato molti spunti interessanti sull’isola. Inoltre, l’appartamento era più grande di quanto mostrato in foto, e tenuto molto bene.
