Cannot sleep any closer to Diocletian’s mausoleum other than if you are buried under it ! Room is so well set up and functional. WiFi and AC worked

Nothing . Stayed on the 3rd floor - just make sure that your knees and back are okay .

LOVE this property ! It was my second stay here . I stayed then left a few days and returned here. This time I stayed on the top floor . It was a climb but like any climb there is always the great reward at the top !!!! Beautiful beyond words overlooking Diocletian' Palace !! Central to all things inside the walls and outside ! It had a cute balcony to sit out on in private and listen to the crowds and music. My kind of place to be 100%... such a great find ! The owner was extremely accommodating and kind !!!

This comment is just for those who have tons of luggage to carry or have issues climbing steps .... there are a lot of winding steps to the floors .... however you could probably see if you could stay on the 2 nd foor ( or rooms 1 or 2) . I myself loved the views from the higher floors . I am older ( over 55 ) . I did fine but just had to take my time . I need to learn to pack less overall lol ... so that is my fault .

Be aware that you are by the bell tower which chimes around 6am. Might be handy to bring ear plugs

Excellent location. Right in the heart of the palace across from the bell tower.

Terrible communication from the host. I tried reaching out several times in advance of our arrival to Split with no response. Only after we arrived at the door to the lodging did we receive notification on how to get in. We helped another couple who had the same issue not being able to contact anyone. Very frustrating and I wouldn’t choose this place again due to that issue.
