Bit of a mixed bag with this hotel. It certainly wasn't a 5 star.
As for our room and the hotel itself, it was lovely and clean so no complaints there.
The food however was quite bland and repetitive (especially the snack bar by the pool) and the alcoholic drinks were just cheap spirits. Luckily the beer was lovely.
Pool area was pretty good and the slides were great.
Location however is pretty bad. It took over 2 hours to get to the hotel. We also understand it was the quiet season but other than a few restaurants along the beachfront (which were all shut) there was nothing nearby.
Would also say this hotels caters more for elderly people which isn't an issue as such. Just if you're younger, maybe consider somewhere else.
5 days was more then enough time here as we got pretty bored by the final day.
I would maybe give it a 4* if the food and drinks were improved and there was more to do around the hotel.
