Apartments Garac

L'appartamento super accogliente, pulito e curato. La cucina era davvero ben equipaggiata: stoviglie, pentole, utensili, e anche piccoli elettrodomestici come microonde e bollitore. La posizione è ottima, le spiaggette sono sotto casa! Forse sarebbe meglio specificare che i metri che separano dalla spiaggia poi al ritorno sono tutti in salita, ma la vista che si ha poi dal terrazzino fa dimenticare anche la fatica. Ana e Jure sono super gentili, ospitali e ci hanno accolto con un aperitivo di benvenuto con prodotti locali. Anche durante il soggiorno erano presenti senza essere invadenti. Intorno alla casa si trova tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno, supermercato, panificio e piccolo negozio di souvenir. Dista a 20 km da Spalato e 5 km da Omis.

Odličan studio apartman koji je stvarno čist i dočekao nas je ugodno ohlađen. Ima sve potrebno i kavu za prvi dan i isti je kao na fotografijama. Super vlasnik koji nas je ugodno dočekao s pićem dobrodošlice i zalogajčićima, svaka čast! Preporučam!!

Budite spremni na uske i strme uličice, nama nije bio problem :)

Let me start by saying that the hosts are very nice and communicative people, and they take great care of their guests (they welcome us with a plate of local delicacies, watermelon, and cold drinks, and the children received sweets as a farewell gift), which was very nice. The property has a beautiful sea view, is relatively clean, and has convenient parking. There are many nice beaches within a 15-minute walk.

Access to Apartments Garac is difficult because the property is located on a hill, requiring a very narrow, steep road with a gradient of about 15 degrees. There's no direct access to the beach; you have to cross the busy Jadranska magistrala, which is very dangerous. Croatians and tourists drive at 80 km/h 24/7, and in many places there's no sidewalk, or even a shoulder, no pedestrian crossings. Therefore, I don't recommend it to families with children or the elderly. The location between Split and Omiš is supposedly attractive, but traffic jams are constant on this route from morning to night, so getting there by car or bus takes three times longer than it should. The route to Split, about 20 km, took two hours by local bus, standing still; by car, we drove for 1.5 hours. Weak Wi-Fi, which practically only worked on the terrace, a leaky shower tray (though the host warned us about it and apologized for it), and a strange smell on the terrace every evening, like a septic tank (it was hard to sit and eat with that foul smell), made the stay a bit difficult. The decor and furniture are older; the apartment could use some updating, or at least a refresh.
