Topos Tree House

Je waant je in de natuur van Costa Rica! De apen laten zich wel horen ‘s nachts, maar dat heeft ook wat bijzonders. In de ochtend zagen we ze in de bomen slingeren. Wij begonnen onze reis hier en dat was een hele goede keuze!

Na 2 nachten merkte je dat het matras niet lekker lag

Einfach alles war super! Das Haus ist frisch renoviert, um auf ältere Aussagen einzugehen. Es ist offen, trotzdem ist dort Privatsphäre. Es sind die kleinen Details die mich fasziniert haben! Schnitzereien in den Ständern, der Steg zum Haus, Beleuchtung überall, Hängematten …hier ist nicht genug Platz um meine Begeisterung auszudrücken. Zudem ist Topo ein toller Gastgeber! Faultiere gabs übrigens auch !!!

We absolutely LOVED the property and tree house. It was so beautiful and peaceful with a lovely pond on the property with beautiful frogs all around, sloths in the trees and beautiful birds all around you. Topo met us at the Reggae Bar on the beach that was a 5 minute walk from the property and showed us around. He was great and gave us some great advice during our stay, including letting us know that part of one of the major roads had been closed due to a mud slide the night before we were leaving. We were so grateful that he told us as none of us were aware of any issues. We cooked several nights at the tree house and had most everything that we needed, including a blender for our rum cocktails that we discovered in Costa Rica. The Reggae Bar had great food and was just down the road. The beach was absolutely beautiful and there was a great little place for breakfast right near the tree house also (Bridgettes), where we also booked a chocolate making tour. There is another restaurant just another 5 minute walk down the road that had delicious food too and great cocktails. Cahuita (pronouced COWeeta) was a beautiful rustic area that we cannot wait to go back to. Not too touristy, but enough that you felt very comfortable. The coral reef and Cahuita National Park were absolutely beautiful too, but make sure you hire a guide for the national park as you will not be able to see anywhere near the things that the guides see and are able to show you. So worth the extra money!!!!
