Landhaus Tirol

We really enjoyed our stay at Landhaus Tirol. The rooms were very spacious, offering plenty of room for our whole family to relax after a long day outside. Everything was exceptionally clean, it is obvious that great care is taken to keep the place in top condition. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, whether for preparing a simple breakfast or cooking a full diner, we didn’t miss the oven. We also appreciated the ski storage room with heated boot dryers. Another big advantage is that the ski bus stop is only some 150 meters from the house, which made getting to the slopes quick and easy. Last but not least, the hosts were genuinely kind, welcoming and very helpful and it was pleasant to meet them. Overall, it was a very comfortable, spacious and well-maintained place to stay for a skiing holiday and we would happily return.

Landhaus Tyrol is a comfy family (but not only) hotel with a very friendly hosts. It is easily accessible by car and every destination we chose to visit during our vacation was not far away. The views from multiple balconies are stunning. What I particularly liked is that there were grass fields around the hotel which makes it even more attractive for the people who like to have quiet surroundings: no disturbance from noisy neighbors. The hosts offer traditional buns services every morning. The apartment is very clean and tidy, the beds are comfy, everything works like it should work. Overal it was one of the greatest vacations we have ever had, my sincere recommendation!

The knifes were not sharp, good that we are always taking one with us.

Huge rooms, all very clean and functional. No luxury but fantastic value for money. Great location in Zillertal inbetween Zell am Ziller and the Horberg valley station in Mayrhofen. Calm position away from the main road with views of the valley floor and surrounding mountains. 100 meters from well kept cross-country ski tracks. Heated room for skis and boots. Both Zell am Z and Mayrhofen are beautiful villages. Landlady was very helpful and accommodating. Cute and funcional train line serves the valley all the way to Mayrhofen, included in ski ticket, but is not within walking distance. Barn next door add to the true Austrian/alpine ambience.

Excellent access with a car but perhaps a few hundred meters walk to the nearest skibus (we did not use it). Cash only payment (and/or bank deposit in advance). Avoid the heavy road traffic in/out of the valley on Saturdays - leave before 8.30 am or you'll be stuck.
