EL Suites Berawa - Canggu

We stayed here for 3 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids - could easily have stayed longer! Good location - very short walk to some nice cafes and restaurants + 10 minute walk to the beach The villa complex felt safe and quiet Hosts were very responsive and helpful - super easy to converse via WhatsApp as well as the front desk Very spacious and tidy Multiple showers and toilets within the villa Heaps of storage and hangers Complimentary chilled and boiling filtered water dispenser in the villa Having our own private pool was a great addition TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms that are Netflix enabled

I did not realise when booking that there was no air-conditioning in the whole bottom level - just one ceiling fan which didn't provide much relief. This meant we spent most of our time in the air-conditioned upstairs bedrooms to escape the heat and didn't make as much use of the spacious bottom level, which was a shame. The air-conditioning in one of the bedrooms barely worked. The hosts were very responsive and did send someone out to try fix it as soon as we notified them, but sadly the repairs (filter cleaning) did not work, and the room remained quite warm. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom on the lower level, but I understand this is common in Bali and not a reflection of the cleaning. We just avoided using that toilet where possible as there we others to use.

Loved our stay here! The room was clean and nice and had everything we needed including a washing machine, the locations was ideal as it was really close to everything, they rented out mopeds which was really convenient as it’s impossible to get anywhere in Canggu without one. Staff were so so lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was also right beside the pool which was so nice to be able to cool off after the day.

There was a few stains on the bedsheets and towels, but everything else was spotless.

Clean and good shower

Laundry was so expensive, the most expensive I’ve paid anywhere. Also the location wasn’t great traffic everywhere. Also they never mentioned it was a shared kitchen in a town house, that was never in the description.
