AlwarKurichi is ideally located to make many excursions to either the nearby temples or visit many interesting reservoirs, waterfalls, forests in the nearby ghats. And this Homestay is quite a sort of dream come true for city dwellers looking for all comforts of a dwelling in a picturesque small village - the experience of staying in the residential part of the village in a traditional house allows one to be a part of the village life during the stay.
Happy about the food arrangements - tasty homemade food served piping hot - the kind and attentive staff ensure the guest’s comfort - given that the food is not prepared in the Homestay itself, but cooked at very nearby house, the staff do a nice job of coordinating the meals - customisation included
The biggest revelation for me was the village of Ālwārkurichchi itself, to get to know the education and healthcare facilities it boasts of proudly, and rightly so
