Excellent staff, very polite, helpful and always on hand to assist. Spacious room with fridge and balcony. Nice dining area for breakfast - hot options were foul, lentil soup and boiled eggs, and cold options were cucumber, tomato, leben, zaatar, jam and Lebanese bread. Tea and juice. Great location close to Hamra.
Intermittent WiFi.

- good location - clean - if you are okay with a basic affordable room, this hotel is good for you
- no free drinking water - key card did not work all the time and we had to go 3 (!) down again to the reception within 1.5 days - to summarize: whole hotel looks very old and the hotel does not want to put any new money in it. - they wanted to keep out passports/ID as a deposit - they charge extra for card payments
