Superb 4 bedroom 3 bathroom detached villa with private pool and spacious outside pool bar entertaining area. Situated in the popular in Los Balcones Urbanisation, the accommodation is set over 2 floors - on the Lower floor is a living / dining room with air con , TV with European satellite (some UK channels) , Fiber WIFI Internet, kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher, 2 bedrooms (Double and Twin both with air con) plus a shower room. A curved staircase leads to a 'round bedroom' (bedroom 3) with full size (2 meter length) Round bed ! and a private bathroom , Air con plus a large terrace with nice views.
0utside next to the Pool bar with its own entrance is the Guest house (Bedroom 4 - family room ) which has a large Queen double bed plus bunk beds (sleeps up to 4 ) plus a bathroom and air conditioning
Outside is the pool area with 8 meter x 4 meter private swimming pool with LED light changing colors (great at night time!) , 7 sunbeds , shaded comfy sofa seating and dining area with poolside bar, drinks fridge and gas BBQl, Pub style Table football game, a charcoal BBQ and Private off street parking .
New fiber wifi system installed 300MEG !!
New for 2023 - A Petanka court has been installed (outdoor bowling game with sand pit ) Balls are provided

Los Balcones is a green leafy and well established suburb of Torreveija. Its situated on the Southside of Torrevieja between the famous pink salt lakes and the Mediterranean sea. the closest beaches (both blue flag status for cleanliness and facilities) are situated at Punta Prima and Los Nafregus both can be reached within 5 minutes by car /taxi or 10 minutes by bus (pick up point is 5 minutes walk from the villa). Vist the Torreveija town centre (see below) 10 min drive (car /taxi) or 15 minutes by bus.
Local shops restaurants bars cafes supermarket are 7 minutes walk (2 minute drive)
Los Balcones park with green zones, excersize area, picnic area, football pitches, basket pitches, ping pong table, pertanca course is 5 minutes walk from the villa
Los Balcones tennis club is 5 minute walk
We have 2 international airports Alicante and Murcia within a 60 minute drive.
Torrevieja: In recent years Torrevieja has become a first-class tourist location, it boasts 320 days of sun a year and an average temperature of 18°C. There are many beautiful beaches, squares, walks, public parks, gardens and other natural beauty spots. Torrevieja is a typically lively Spanish town with its many cafes bars restaurants offering delicacies from all around the world and famous street markets. One of the main attractions to Torrevieja are the variety of festivals which take place almost every month. Some of the most popular events in Torrevieja are the Carnivals, in which thousands of people join in, forming a light show of colour, satir and good humour.
Things to do : A Trip into Torreveija town centre is a must, Take a stroll along the promenade, check out the evening street market (next to the water fountain) open every night. Visit the Tivolo (fun fair) has rides for both adults and children, have an ice-cream from one of the many ice-cream parlours along the front. Visit the huge water park with water slides, chutes and wave machines (open late June to early Sept) Go Karting at Punta Prima (open all year round) its a fantastic track offering high adrenalin fun for teenagers and adults (children over 7). Ten pin bowling near the Haberneras shopping centre. Take a relaxing walk around one of Torreveija’s parks, Go for a boat ride at the boating lake (park of Nations) For night time entertainment visit the lively bar streets (behind Ell Muelle restaurant) and if your still awake hit the night clubs try 'Pacha' (sister to Ibiza super club) located in the industrial area. Torreveija has approx 800 restaurants, cafes & bars to choose from.

We booked this Villa through Vrbo and the process was smooth. The Villa is managed by JK Villas who were excellent throughout our 10 night stay. After a problem with a separate transfer form which left us stranded at the airport, Angela from JK Villas came to our rescue and arranged alternative transfers immediately. Angela then also booked an excellent transfer for the return.
The Villa was perfect for our stay. It is very spacious inside and out and fine for six people. The pool was perfect size and temperature and kept clean twice a week. All the facilities needed were available and more. The air conditioning was excellent.
Whilst the location in Los Balcones is good it is important to know that the Villa sits at the top of a steep hill, one that has to be climbed when returning from the nearest shops/restaurants which are 5/10 minutes away, a little too much for our disabled daughter and her granddad.
The only real negative was the taxi services around Torrevieja which were quite honestly the worst, by a long way, I have ever experienced. This left us stuck in the Villa more than we had planned but as the Villa is so nice, not a big problem.

The villa is set beautifully within its grounds, and the pool and outside area are immediately inviting. Everything inside was as described and the dealings we had with JK Villas were mainly positive.
The few negatives we experienced were -
The villa is at the top of a steep incline, in an unusually hilly area. This made for all the facilities that were within walking distance feeling like they were much further away, especially in the high temperatures in our first week. To the point where several evenings we stayed in rather than take on the walk.
The upstairs balcony is fabulous but completely unfurnished, therefore, fairly useless. The staircase leading upstairs is walled on both sides and marble. As you open the bedroom door to go downstairs your first step is down the first stair. Not very safe, especially if sleepy/rushing/wet/merry etc.
Despite being told the pool would be cleaned twice a week, it was only cleaned once during our fortnight, and this really spoiled our enjoyment of the pool.
One pleasant surprise was a filtered cold water tap meaning we didn’t need to buy bottled, and the beds were all comfy, and everything worked - not always our experience.
Would we go back? Yes, but only with a car, or the express intention of staying put at the villa.

We had a lovely relaxing 10 days at the villa everything you need was there a home from home , local shops and restaurants were close by , plenty of areas at the villa to relax and move about excellent family villa , and the pool was brilliant for me but my wife and 5 year old grandson was needing some heat in the pool as it was September and the staff at JK villa rentals were f but all in all wonderful holiday
