Wonderful, refreshing, and relaxing stay with a great breakfast and wonderful hosts

Breakfast was always wonderful and we enjoyed the cooked to order eggs. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. They went out of their way to make it special. We also like being on a farm, away from the town but the drawback was having to go to town for lunches and dinners, although having a refrigerator helped.

The room and balcony were nice but more comfortable seating inside for two would have been nice. An option for a dinner or two would have been nice but it might have been too much for the hosts.

Probably one of the most beautiful places where I had the opportunity to spend the night. Incredible peace and quiet. I have never seen such a dark sky at night with so many stars. If you are looking for a quiet place to walk and a place to enjoy the silence this is the perfect place. Easy access, close to shops and restaurants. The owners - wonderful people. Great room with beautiful bathroom. I wish I could stay there longer, I wish I had taken my favorite mountain bike, I wish I had more time to walk in the mountains, I wish I could stay much longer. I hope that I will be able to return there someday to take a break from everyday life.

Absolute gem. Absolutely loved our stay at the farm.

Everything. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. It looks even better than on the pictures and the family is kind, welcoming and makes you feel at home. The facilities are amazing. My kids and I didn’t want to leave: the trampoline, the goats and bunnies you can visit. My little one also loved riding on one of the ponies and the countless tractors and diggers to ride on it play with in the sandpit…the beds were large and comfy. The views stunning and the breakfast yummy.

The quaint, quiet location and all the space. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline, football pitch, the toys, the sand pit….and kept asking when we could go back home (home was Blumbauernhof!)

Lovely farm stay

We had a great time - our almost 2 year daughter had so much to do, animals, swings, ride ons, sand pit!!! The view from our apartment was beautiful and the location was perfect to explore various spots across the Black Forest. Joachim, Michael and Bianca were perfect hosts, gave us tips about the area and places to eat We’d definitely come again in a few years!

We had amazing and relaxing vacation… Highly recommend!!

The stay at Blumbauernhof was excellent . The location is very nice. Hosts were amazing and taking care of everything during our stay.. We went for 2 day getaway and had really great and relaxing time. My daughter just loved being around and playing with Ponies (Lilly made her stay memorable ), bunnies, cow and goats. We are already looking forward to go back in Autumn… I would highly recommend stay in Blumbauernhof if you are going to Black Forest.

Everything was good. We lived in Blumbauernhof 2 weeks, and can recommend this place for short visits and long duration vacations too. The owners were so nice and helped us with everything. they also every day put more installations for the kids : football, trampoline and such!

Idyllic retreat for a family on holiday

The cats are so friendly. The breakfast spread was good, especially the fresh pot of coffee. The room was extremely comfortable and warmly decorated.

A perfect place to enjoy the black forest with your family.

We liked everything about it. The location was near to most of the tourist attraction sites. We also got this card where you get discount prizes (full/half) to enjoy those places. The hostess was very friendly. Rooms clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and wholesome. Definitely an inviting place.

Friendly family host, great wooden furnishing, nice and abundant breakfast, great location, strong wifi, and tranquil view.

It says there's a petting zoo but we didnt see other animals except cows and a cat. And we are not allowed to get over the electric rope so basically can't really touch the cows.

Lovely view, and very peaceful place, ideal to relax. Safe open space for kids to play with a trampoline and football field and two friendly cats. Good breakfast. There are different types of accommodation, we had an ample flat that was very comfortable.

I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Everything was spectacular. Our kids stayed so busy, rooms were so quaint and cozy, very clean. The family were just the sweetest! We plan on visiting again. Very close to attractions but feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere!
