Comfortable and characterful, well located gite.

Excellent location, excellent facilities. A very characterful and very well renovated house. A pleasant garden to sit in with fruit trees and grass. Parking is either on the street outside or a free car park just down the road. Just a short walk to the town centre.

Nothing really. Pity we did not actually meet the owners to show our appreciation.

Exceptional

This is a self-service 'gite', a whole house at the disposal of the guest(s). Staff are not present but easy to contact buy message or phone. The residents who secured by a locked Street gate and locked access door. My bike was safely stored undercover inside the yard. The house is quite huge with room for a number of guests, preferably family or Friends. The kitchen is well appointed as are the bathrooms, living areas and bedrooms. There are utensils if you want to prepare your own food, but you will need to bring all the ingredients as well as oil, herbs etc. The location is excellent for walking or riding around Nogent. Note that the castle is on the hill above the town with quite a good staircase to climb, but it's worth the effort.

Het was schoon en de keuken en badkamer waren goed

Enkele matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe en het was er koud. De eigenaar hamerde er echter op dat we op t gebruik van electriciteit (el.kachels) moesten letten.

La maison : l’espace, les équipements, le jardin, la localisation.

Un peu froid mais il y a des plaids partout. Ça aurait pu être sympa de rencontrer les propriétaires, qui cependant étaient joignables.

L’équipement très complet de la maison Le confort général de celle-ci La décoration agréable La présence d’un fond d’épicerie très pratique (sel, poivre, liquide vaisselle, huile …)

Maison comportant beaucoup d’escaliers (pour entrer dans la maison, pour accéder aux wc du rdc, pour accéder aux chambres, et pour accéder a la salle de jeux: 4 en tout). Peu pratique avec des enfants en bas âge Les escaliers n’étaient pas sécurisés par des barrières, et le garde-corps de la terrasse est à risque pour un petit Présence dans le jardin de structures métalliques rouillées posées au sol: danger également pour les enfants et cela détonne avec l’aspect champêtre du jardin. 🪴
