Charming, character property in a lovely very small city

It was a beautiful, characterful building, tastefully converted, on a charming little lane just five minutes walk from the centre of St David’s. Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Parking was a slight hassle, as we had to unload and move the cars to a car park a couple of minutes walk down the hill. Free parking badge was provided.

Great base for St Davids and wider Pembrokeshire

We liked pretty much everything! The Granary is gorgeous and has been converted very well, it has plenty of room, lets in lots of natural light, and provides lots of 'facilities' (utensils, white goods, board games, etc.). There was only three of us stopping here and I could have seen easily how it could have held at least double that. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to people..!!

If I had to really picky I would suggest the following could be improved upon: better black out curtains in the bedrooms (this is very much personal preference though); some complimentary tea and coffee upon arrival would be nice (I don't know whether I have been spoilt when abroad but this is a nice touch to be welcomed with after a long drive to get there). Honestly though, these are so very minor when compared with how nice the place is (hence why it still got a 10/10 score)!

The bathroom arrangements aren't clear on booking.com. 2 downstairs bedrooms, one with en suite shower room. No separate toilet downstairs. Upstairs bedroom has 'Jack and Jill' bathroom - so the occupants of the second downstairs bedroom have to use that upstairs bathroom.

A beautiful stay in St Davids.

It was a short walk to the square of St David's. It was beautiful inside and spacious. It had all the items one needs to stay for several days. Would definitely reserve again for another stay.

There is no outdoor space associated with the granary but with the pembrokeshire coast within a miles walk you don't really need it. Reserve the Forge downstairs if you have a group larger than 6 people!

Wonderful, perfect, stunning place to stay in. 100% perfect in so many ways

The Granary is in a great location just of the Cross/Square. The Granary has been beautiful restored and the attention to detail is simply stunning. Its been converted with thought and with great detail. It is so well equipped it was like being at home. It was warm, spacious but cosy. Beds super comfy. Kitchen was a joy to cook in as lovely top end appliances. Every thing was to hand every thing you could need was in the cupboard. It was so well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. It was simply perfect. Loved reading the other visitors comments, lovely to read that some had returned not twice but three times. I think that says it all. Book this lovely place, as you will have the most comfortable of stays. It really is home from home. Lovely china to use to and some lovely ceramics as ornaments and some amazing local artists works on the walls. To be honest, it is way to nice to be used as a holiday home. I would never let it out if it was ours.

Very comfortable accommodation in a magical 'city'.

Excellent location right in the heart of St Davids with lovely views of the cathedral and easy access to the various shops in the city centre. Well appointed accommodation that was very comfortable and spacious which is great when you have walking gear. Showers were really good and there was plenty of seating. Great for a family as well as couples.

Underfloor heating was a bit confusing to begin with but once mastered was a great environmentally friendly alternative to the usual systems. No parking at the property - free parking a short walk away but due to the hill, might have posed a problem in icy conditions. Otherwise all great.

Parking was down the road in public carpark -but actually was not an issue with parking permit supplied.
