Location and the unit was clean
Overuse of candle fragrance and scents. Had to remove obnoxious smelling candle and trash bags from unit while there. Nest thermostat control set to override any adjustments we made so a constant fight to maintain comfortable temp in unit. Too much of owners food and supplies in fridge and cabinets. Made us feel like intruders. Laundry in basement which had overwhelming musty smells. Owner checkout list included a request that we wipe down the inside of all her windows for moisture. Really? Highest rental rate of any we rented on this trip and the most rules. We suggest she hire a housekeeper to clean her windows. Get a clue Kelly, renters are your customers not your labor. Would not return for that reason alone. Dump the fragrance used to (we assume) attempt to hide basement smells from wicking up through flooring.
