Smart apartment, Athens.

I really loved staying here! The neighborhood is nice, safe even at night, and packed with great places to eat, grab a pastry, or sightsee right within walking distance. Getting back after dark was always easy, whether I just walked or grabbed a ride on the Freenow app. The first-floor apartment was convenient and had everything I needed. I was actually working on this trip and honestly, the Wi-Fi was painfully slow, but I still managed to get through my team meetings on Google Meet. Shower was good, which is pretty rare to find in Southern Europe! A big thank you to the host, Manolis, who waited up for me when I ran late and made sure I was completely settled in.

The Wi-Fi is incredibly slow even for just one person, so you are honestly better off just using your phone's 5G hotspot. The building also lacks good soundproofing, while the street noise is blocked out nicely for sleeping at night, you will hear what neighbors are doing during the day.

Propre. Grand. Bien agencé

Très sombre. Et rue très passante donc bruyant

This is a really cosy and functional apartment, and Manolis is a fantastic host - he was super helpful and really good at communicating in the lead up the holiday.

It is a little bit out of the way of the centre of Athens, and the surrounding area isn't necessarily the most scenic. But it is easy to get a bus or train into town!
