Pros: First off best location right on south michigan ave next to the Hilton and LeMeridian (Essex) , good price and get a nice modern and spacious apartment for less than the cramped rooms at the hotels in the loop, but thats where the praise ends. Cons: Mid to low tier everything else, - -housekeeping is sloppy as there was mold in the caulk in shower & crusty kitchen faucet where they forgot to wipe. -Wifi never worked as some weird att scan kept popping up on all my ios devices and no workaround. -Pool was closed with no notice on the listing - mgmt claims any mention of even having a pool was removed from listings while its being worked on, but both agoda and their main property page proudly display the infinity pool. -$500 Deposit at check in, also not disclosed at booking anywhere, is a bit excessive. -Finally at checkout a manager who seemed to be having a bad gave me a rolling laundry basket when I asked for a luggage cart - kinda summarizes the mindset of management/ownership if the building. All this mentioned FYI - yes I would return and another manager Nick at check-in was apologetic for the discrepancies and did offer to make things right.

This is the second time, the first in 2024, staying for a week at Sentral. Both were excellent experiences.

The unit was more beautiful than we expected. Our requests were granted, thankfully. The room had everything we needed for our stay.
