About this apartment rental
Newly renovated, ground floor, 2 bedroom apt. within a detached chalet in the heart of Les Carroz. Perfect location for ski-ing in the winter and enjoying the spectacular mountain scenery all year round. Conveniently located just 200m from the centre of the village, a 10min walk to the main ski lift station or a 1min walk to the free ski bus. Renovated to a high standard with access to south and west facing patios. Use of communal sauna/shower room and boot room with boot dryers and ski racks.
The Space
The chalet is set within it's own grounds with a private, communal garden and large driveway for several cars. The appartment has it's own reserved covered parking for 1 car. The apartment has patio doors from the living room onto a south facing patio and from the master bedroom onto a west facing patio. The chalet is divided into 3 apartments and Apartment 1 is located on the ground floor. The 2 bedrooms have use of a main bathroom and toilet as well as a separate toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided within the cleaning fee.
Guest Access
Guests have use of a communal sauna/shower room and the communal ski/boot room to store equipment and dry boots.
The chalet has fast Wifi internet, French and UK satellite TV, 4k Smart TV, PS4, a Bluetooth speaker, underfloor heating and a modern fully equipped kitchen with Bosch electric oven, Liebherr fridge/freezer, conventional hob, microwave, dishwasher and a washer dryer.

Contact is via the management company located in the heart of the village just a 2 minute walk from the chalet.
Other Things to Note
Aquicîme Leisure Centre and Wellness Spa with it's heated outdoor and indoor heated pools is located behind the chalet. Tennis courts and the new tree top adventure play area are also conveniently located.
The Neighbourhood
Les Carroz is a gateway to the Grand Massif ski area offering 265km of well maintained and varied pistes connecting the resorts of Flaine, Morillon, Samoëns and Sizt that all face the Mont Blanc mountain range.
200m from the centre of the village with many restaurants, an ice rink, shops, pharmacy, ski rentals, banks, cash machines, 2 supermarkets, an open market and a busy town square with aprés ski, live music and animations during the holiday season. A nursery/crêche Le Sourie Vert is conveniently located next door.
Getting Around
55 minutes by car from Geneva, Les Carroz and the surrounding area is served by a free ski bus 100m from the chalet. Beautiful woodland trails are accessible on your doorstep.

Positief: fijn appartement, keuken prima, rustig gelegen, ruimte om auto te parkeren, op loopafstand van 2 supermarkten en winkels, mooie wandelomgeving, veel mogelijkheden voor sportieve activiteiten, prima contact met verhuurder.
Te verbeteren: appartement was niet echt schoon bij aankomst. Verhuurder was ivm Corona al lange tijd niet ter plaatse geweest, komt een volgende keer vast goed!

the flat is as described with couple of good surprises such like the Sauna - on the ground floor available for the 3 flats in the same building and dedicated room to store the skis and skiing shoes.
equipment of the flat is great, fully set up kitchen with big fridge and all the necessary stuff to do real cooking, like at home. Nothing compared to the doll kitchens we usually find in these skiing flats. Also the beds are comfy and good size
Well located, just 500meters from first shops of the village, 200meters from the public free shuttle to go to the slopes.
The public transport' allergic people will have to go through the whole Carroz village to go to the lift station (being on the opposite side of the village, 15min walk (20/25 with the skiing shoes).
The only downsides
1/ the lack of real space to store the skiing trousers and jackets (unless left in the cloakroom)
2/the kids room, with 3 beds, is bit tight. Better to have 3 kids going well together (which is our case).
as a conclusion, definitely I would recommand this place and if I'm going back to les Carroz, this place will be in my top 5 list.
