Aphrodite Beach

Our stay at Aphrodite Beach Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. What truly sets this hotel apart is the friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that we were not only comfortable and satisfied, but genuinely impressed throughout our stay—even while relaxing on the beach. The breakfast was of excellent quality, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. The views are simply breathtaking, whether enjoyed from the restaurant terrace, the beach, or directly from the room. The location is ideal. The beach is literally less than a two-minute walk from the bed and is one of the most beautiful we visited in Crete. At the same time, the hotel provides easy access to some of the island’s highlights, including Balos Lagoon (around 40 minutes drive to the car park, then 30min walk), Falassarna Beach (15 minutes), and Chania (40 minutes). Several excellent restaurants are also just a short walk away. Our room and bathroom were modern, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent, with daily cleaning and regular refreshes of the room, ensuring everything remained spotless throughout our stay. We highly recommend Aphrodite Beach Hotel to anyone visiting western Crete and would gladly return in the future.

The only minor observation concerns the Wi-Fi, which is available throughout the hotel and even on the beach. While it is best suited for everyday use such as emails and messaging rather than heavy streaming or work-related tasks, this felt entirely in keeping with the hotel's relaxing atmosphere and encouraged us to make the most of our holiday.

No nice traditional tavernas close by - all driving distance

The breakfast was excellent, the beach right on the doorstep and the room extremely comfortable. I didn't use the pool but noted there was a lovely section for children. The beach was beautiful - lovely views, soft sand and a great beach bar with plenty of shade when wanted.

everything else, the bathroom wasn’t very good looking. the door to our room was fragile and the handle was almost broken. we were lucky that the door handle had an issue because the key to our room wasn’t even working, instead of a green light , a red one appeared. the bed was very nice. the rest was pretty mediocre but the staff was also very nice
