Met expectations. Simple room in simple guesthouse, Options to make coffee and tea in the central part of the building. View on the river, which is nice. No traffic noise at night. You don't hear the busstation, which is across the road. Friendly staff.

The location and view to the river was excellent. The room was comfortable and vibrantly decorated. Each room was dedicated to a historian figure and a card was placed outside each room explaining who this person was. It was apparent the staff put a lot of time and effort to ensure their guests enjoy their time in Tavira. Would highly recommend.
Would have liked to have been able to drop off our suitcases earlier in the day prior to checking in. However to be fair we never asked if it was possible.

Friendly staff, good size room, aircon worked
There was a building site next door. Hammer drill banging into our wall constantly from 7am to 4pm. Not relaxing. Fridge then making shuddering noises all night. Shouldn't really be letting rooms with that level of noise.
