Lovely historic building which the apartment is set in. Superkingsize bed which is what we want, not available at all apartments.

Some basic supplies such as Cling film and Foil would have been helpful. Expresso machine didn't work. We found that theres not a lot to do in Faro, we stayed 4 days, 2 or 3 would have been better for us.

The apartment was perfect and super clean, with everything we needed – coffee, cutlery, really well equipped. The location was excellent, very close to the bars and restaurants area. Parking was relatively easy to find, and even though there's no dedicated parking, there's usually always a spot nearby. The bedroom was also great, with a very comfortable bed.

The listing on Booking said the property was suitable for up to 4 people, but the sofa bed is really bad – uncomfortable to the point of being unusable. We were a group of four, one couple stayed in the bedroom and the other on the sofa bed, and we barely slept, waking up with severe back pain the next day. We even had to buy an inflatable mattress to sleep better the following night. I think the listing should be updated to reflect a maximum of 2 people, or perhaps suitable for a small child on that sofa bed, but it definitely shouldn't be advertised as suitable for 4 adults.
