Great house for a group gathering. Lots of space and very comfortable. Took a little bit of time to heat up with some rooms warmer than others but overall not a problem. The green room and celestial suite were lovely spaces, the large dining table great for special meals. We probably needed more time to use all the facilities but great to have them available

The house is amazing. No need to wonder too far and the amenities are great. Had my daughters 21st birthday here and she loved the experience with her family and close friends. I loved cooking in that kitchen and eating in that dining room. Bedrooms are where you want to sleep surrounded by art and architecture with the occasional crafts shoved in. The building and it's grounds are purposeful and the antiquity to die for. Thanks for the memory. Robert

What a lovely place. It is a beautiful home with lots of things to do just inside the home itself, not including the outside. Just 4.5 miles to the border with Scotland, if you like staying inside or like driving (that's us), this is the place for you. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of some of the outdoor things, due to the weather but everything looked beautiful.

The house is lovely but we had a few issues while we were away. The fridge was not cooling and was actually warming the food resulting in a lot of our food having to be binned, including the meat for our new years day dinner. We couldnt get the jacuzzi bath or shower with jets to work and there was a bad smell in the downstairs toilet. The website says there is an EV charger which we couldnt find, we text the emergency number to ask but didnt get a response. We did have a good time and the house is lovely but I am disappointed to have contacted the host after leaving to make them aware of these issues and get no response at all. I would like to hope that these issues, especially the fridge would be fixed for future guests. Thanks
