Location is superb, just a few minutes walk to town. View is glorious, especially at sunset. Pool area is small but perfectly adequate, there aren't that many rooms so no fighting for loungers etc. During the day it felt that we had the whole property to ourselves, at night they open to the public for dinner and drinks which gives the place a good buzz. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Marco at the front desk and the ladies at breakfast. We arrived late on the first night but they were able to accommodate us for dinner which was very nice.
The property was immaculately clean but decor-wise it was a bit dated. The bones of the property are lovely but internally it could do with some character. The current decor is a little uninspired in that it is neither true to the original style of the period, nor fresh and modern. It could be stunning!
The room was a good size and had a little terrace which was great, but again the decor let it down. It was comfortable to be fair, just a little bland which was a pity.
The staff at breaksfast were lovely, smiling and helpful. The breakfast itself was nothing to get excited about, fairly standard. They don't do poolside lunch or snacks during the day, just drinks.
None of the above would stop me from staying again, in general it was a very enjoyable stay. personally I just feel that it is lacking a few things that would make a truly 'boutique' stay.

Location and view from the pool area
The room was smaller than expected and the view was the laundry room. The outdoor pool wasn’t heated as advertised and that was a key reason for booking. Instead we were told they had a heated hot tub which was dirty. When we shared this they discovered it had a blockage and therefore emptied it as they had to wait for a part. Overall not great value compared to the other places we have stayed in during our trip to Sardinia
