Sweet Home Kalamata Central Comfort and Warmth

דירה מהממת במרכז העיר, במיקום מושלם ונוח להכל. סטפנוס המארח מקסים, זמין ושירותי מאוד. הדירה נקייה מאוד, מטופחת ומאובזרת היטב, יש בה כל מה שצריך לשהות נעימה. האווירה נעימה ומזמינה, והשהות הייתה פשוט מצוינת. החנייה מעט מאתגרת, אך לא היה צורך להזיז את הרכב במהלך השהות, כך שזה פחות הורגש. בהחלט מקום שהיינו שמחים לחזור אליו ולהמליץ עליו בחום.

The biggest advantage of this apartment is its unbeatable central location — literally one minute from the main square and city center. Being right in the heart of the Christmas and New Year celebrations was a great experience and made everything easily walkable. Although the building itself is older (typical of the main square, probably from the 70s), it does have a working elevator, which is a big plus. The apartment is clearly more modern than the rest of the building, having been renovated around 10–15 years ago, so it feels comfortable and well maintained even if not brand new. The kitchen is very well equipped with appliances, the air conditioning units in every room heat the apartment efficiently, and the place was clean. Overall, the stay was pleasant and convenient.

As expected for such a central location, parking is extremely difficult — not something the host can fix, but worth mentioning. The main building entrance is old and does not close, which raised some security concerns, especially since we had to leave our stroller downstairs because the elevator was too small. While the apartment is not outdated, some personal decorative touches could be removed to give it a more neutral, hotel-like feel. Our main discomfort was the double bed placement: it is pushed into a corner with a wall-mounted shelf above it, and almost every night I ended up hitting myself. Lastly, there was no welcome water or similar basic courtesy upon arrival — only a packet of Oreos — which felt a bit underwhelming after a long trip. Despite these issues, most of the downsides are minor compared to the excellent location.

Περάσαμε φανταστικά στο σπίτι αυτό! Πλήρεις παροχές με προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια, αναπαυτικότατα κρεβάτια και η τοποθεσία ένα βήμα στην κυριολεξία από την υπέροχη πλατεία Αριστομένους. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ τον ευγενικότατο ιδιοκτήτη!
