Beautifully clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous, large lounge full of interesting books, maps, and pictures. Very quiet, yet just a few miles from Dorchester and main routes in all directions. Hostess is most charming and helpful, good knowledge of excellent local restaurants etc. Keep this place a secret!

Booking.com asks the question 'What did you like?', and my first response was to write 'Everything!" Beds are comfy. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Amenities are excellent. Delicious breakfast (good eggs). Communal area feels open and fresh with the appropriate level of feng shui thanks to the wicker furniture, the lighting, and Jilly Cooper on the shelves. Everything is done to a premium to make guests feel at home. Wish we could have stayed longer.
